It is a blink. Ez's Arcane Shift can't escape Thresh's Death Sentence like he could with Blitz's Q.
The interaction is the same (properly timed, you can blink after Death Sentence hits), the difference is that Thresh's chain stays hooked to you as part of the spell and the pulling part comes after, so you will be able to blink but then you'll still be pulled and he can fly to you.

I was once in your position too. Except placed in Bronze III. I cared too much about winning and losing, and would just go on tilt. I started just playing to have fun, and improve. Ended up going legendary everygame, carrying with highest damage done, and am currently Silver III gaining 40 LP per win. League is all about your attitude. If you go in just to have fun, and not stress about winning or losing. You end up playing far better. TL;DR: Shit happens. Make the best of it. This coming from someone with your handle...
Haha. Back in highschool me and some friends wanted to make "cool" handles that were a word + two letters. I was a huge IdrA fan. Even have a release the gracken shirt, so it seemed fitting to me.
Was playing Vayne last night, they invaded our blue, and the opposing Draven got a double kill level 1. It was probably the most sad I have been in League in a very long time.

That is when you demand a laneswap and sacrifice top or mid to the draven train.
Edit, also, how many days till hecarim arcade goes off sale?

Probably Sunday on the Arcade Hecarim

Yes, I think the main distinction is that thresh's hook is two separate displacement effects that take effect one after another (and at a significant delay from when the hook actually hits), whereas blitz's hook is a single displacement effect that happens as soon as the projectile hits the target.

I ruins someone else's enjoyment. We warn for that kind of stuff around here.

Standard BT first AD patten, Zephy instead of Zeal item worth looking into.
Edit: Vi is now in my pants.

EU laggin for me too, but an interesting thing I just found due to it is that Lucians passive can be re aimed. I used the shot with the charge at a minion, killed it and right clicked on a different minion before he hit the first one and it got both of them. struggling to replicate but it seems legit.

Sorry for QQing in here, was just tired and mad after last night's games.
After reading your replies, I'm going to use LoLreplays to record my ranked games and see where I'm messing up, like is it something I'm doing wrong, or am I getting caught out, or are my allies really that bad.

As for replays, feel free to post them in the replay thread. I'm sure someone can give you the adequate feedback you're looking for.

Lol. My smurf is gold IV gaining 40 points a game. I'm playing against mid plats and absolutely shit on them. If he wanted to hit platinum or even higher gold it's easy as fuck if he actually deserves to be there. Otherwise, he's like the majority of people who complain about being down there and are much worse than they claim to be.
I'm kind of surprised though to see that Corki hasn't seen a spike upwards in play since the triforce change. It's a both cheaper and fits closer to corki's playstyle. He hasn't been played more and he hasn't been winning more. Granted it was a small change but I expected to see something.

Not especially. About a two months ago I did encounter a Veigar who went all scaling cdr gylphs/quints against a Kassadin. It seemed really retarded at first, but he took tp and basically teleported around to ignore Kass as much as possible. Eventually he had like 37% CDR with just DFG and his ult was coming out so quickly he was just one-shotting everyone all the time.
I did disconnect as the support for like 3 minutes or so when we were crushing his team prior to that, so I don't know if that had something to do with it (probably).
