Not sure I particularly like it or think its better than original Blue Ez-IBG variations, but its funny see'ing ADC's with TF again. Forget the buildup of those, but I'm sure it went something like BT->Tear->TF->LW->FM. Or Tear and BT could of been switched. Pretty sure IBG is still "better", especially with the CDR on that thing. Edit: Oh damn Roffles. lol

Only hard part is getting sufficient cdr. I feel with tf fmallet ez you need some scaling cdr/lvl blues in your runes.

Maybe like Dyrus makes an account and does promos and goes 10-0 then lands in Gold and can cruise his way up to Diamond in a few dozen games, but I don't think you can stay at Gold V for any length of time and get matched with Diamonds. You'd spend more time in promo matches than games for LP, and probability says you'll eventually move up. I agree that the original situation does sound shaky, I don't think anyone would get trapped at G5 stuck against Diamonds, something has to give. Either your MMR moves down or your rank moves up. But when it comes to actual skill matchup, I'm always of the "any given Sunday" mentality. A Diamond should crush a silver/gold, but not always. That's why we took the damn field. Now if you want to crown them, then crown their ass. But they are who we thought they were. And we let them off the hook.

With an early bork it hits harder than you think and his chasing/kiting is hilariously strong. Although his ult's kind of dumb if you just like sidestep it suddenly he's just shooting air for 4 seconds His ult just as so much damage if you get hit by majority of it. Although it is pretty easy to avoid. One thing I noticed in playing against on last night. With the Hired Gun skin his Q is really hard to notice. I would compare it to Steel Legion Lux Q visually.

We took the bait hard. :< Darn, I was thinking of all the potential for new custom games with the gold bags. Lucian bush ult real terror though.

Still, its a joke to say that a Gold (especially a V) player could beat even a scrub Diamond V, obviously excluding kids who got eloboosted. There's a huuuuuge gap in skill-- its like the same difference between Diamond 5 and Challengers, you might occasionally get matched up together, and most of the time the higher ranked guy will curbstomp you and your grandma. I've played on some friends' accounts in bronze/silver, and I win like 80%+ of games. Random thing: So, my ranked 5's team (or three of the more active players) have decided they want to try and push for the Challenger's Circuit (they're Diamond IV). I've been pretty inactive (and will be even more inactive when school starts), so I'm probably giving my account to a new player whose an IRL friend of a couple guys because we're one of those teams with a name theme. I think I'm getting gifted Riot Graves or something on my regular account though because we've been good friends and so forth. That's okay and doesn't count as account selling right? o_o Far as I'm concerned the path form Gold to Diamond has alot more to do with one's ability to teamwork and read gameflow than the mechanical nuances of the laning phase. Gold vs Diamond in a lane, I'd give the Diamond only a slightly higher chance of winning.

The issue with PrinceXizor is he's just contrarian to the extreme. I'm not even sure if he genuinely believes what he posts as much as just throws out random ideas to get people to thought experiment them. Now that might be giving him too much credit but I do think there's reasons to look into some things he posts in moderation and look for any potential theorycraft-able ideas from them. I'd really like to make a case of knocking down those temp bans to a day but w/e.

Posting stupid ideas is good. People will show why they are stupid. People who don't know any better will read it and learn that they are stupid. This is all perfectly okay and in fact makes the forum a better place. When it's one person posting all the stupid ideas all the time it gets a little old, but it's not something to pass out pitchforks about, IMO.

Also if Riot would just consistently release PBE patch notes data mining wouldn't be so prevalent. Also, LOL this thread after I went to sleep. It's fine if you're willing to listen to reason and accept why it may be a dumb idea. I think it was the arrogance that annoyed Roffles the most.

Like whenever they release patch notes they don't even give ratios or ranges.

PX is just dumb. There's nothing wrong with throwing out bad or insane ideas. It's how new things come around, no one can deny that, but to stick with it, argue with anyone who raises any criticism, and to refuse to provide any evidence other than "I think it's a good idea so shut up" isn't the sort of person that TL needs. I come to TL for BW, SC2, and League because I'm trying to get away from that shit on the LoL forums, Reddit, and sites like RoG or Mobafire. Both bans were perfect, and I think if the two of them come back and keep up the same shitty attitudes, they should eat another ban. We don't need people like that on this forum.

Step up your game, shut up and focus on your own play. You can't be serious about calling out people on their mistakes when you're probably not doing that much better anyways. I cant state how important this advice is. I took this advice and I win most of the games where i just focus on my play. Im still pretty hot headed and I do rage occasionally and those are like 90% of the games I loose.

Actually there is quite a gap between gold and diamond when it comes to mechanical skills and trading in lane, at least its how i feel about it in bot lane. But it would make sense that the story is the same mid/top. Getting heavily out traded in lane doesnt bode well for the teamfights. ^^ But i agree, decision making is usually what makes the difference ![]()
