Why are you being so condescending when nobody has remotely disagreed with you or stated otherwise T.T + Show Spoiler + Does LP mean anything? No. Does the league system mean anything? No. Does losing a series or LP for a dodge mean anything? No. Are we discussing a meaningless points / system? Yes. Its all we can see therefore its what we are talking about. Instantly dropping your series so you dont have to put up with such complete cunts is a bit much, its hard to balance such a thing but i think a loss instead of dropping would be better, I mean chances are if you want to dodge your looking at a 99% loss anyway, saves you the time of putting up with idiots. TL;DR - Make dodging count as 1 loss in a series, not instant dropkick to the nuts. It really is a shame we have to be punshed for retards in our team because other people dodge like retards. Never ending circle of hate do you realize that you're not being punished at all? you literally lost nothing. | ||

You get EXACTLY the same league placement and LP after a brief time whether you dodge or not and whether those dodges occurred in a promo or not. You have to deliberately disjoint the two, it's a pain in the ass and even then it doesn't stick for long. You can ditch your promo series all you want, it'll just mean you'll be continually in promos until you pass through. | ||

If i am discussing something that is WITHIN THE LEAGUE SYSTEM it doesnt matter if the system is null, void, pointless, gay straight or bi. Im discussing the system, or something within the system, not the effect the system has on the bigger picture or anything other than the system. Elo and anything else is completely irrelevant because im talking about the league system within a vacuum. Everything you say is completely irrelevant to what i was talking about and you need to get over yourself. When i say i understand something, i fucking understand it. I dont see why you needed to turn it into a huge "LEAGUE SYSTEM IS POINTLESS AND STUPID HURR DURR" when it was nothing to do with it and that topic has been covered OVER. AND OVER. Elo and anything else is completely irrelevant because im talking about the league system within a vacuum. the league system doesn't exist in a vacuum. That's a completely fictional concept. You need to look at the combination of actual impact and appearance and how they interact. The fact that people aren't actually punished on the unusual occasions they have a good reason to ditch champ select (they find out they have to leave, bickering escalates into triple jungle, etc) gives you the best of both worlds. Dodges for casual reasons are discouraged through trickery and dodges by necessity actually result in no harm at all. It really, really is ideal. | ||

The dodge timer was upped to 15 or 30 mins for the first dodge. You know what's less fun than playing with ragers who stop raging if you start carrying the game? Sitting a fucking queue for an hour as people play dodge roulette and you have to draft a team over and over and over again. Or sometimes people play dodge roulette and lose with the heimer/s2 eve bot lane. Yeah, having no dodge penalty beyond time was terrible. | ||
