Partially. Like in Riot's view leblanc, while having *some* cc isn't an actual "support" even though people have played "support leblanc" before. Zyra mainly was redefined as a support due to how strong support zyra has become through the community, so proved that she actually works.

So, Im one game away from a promo series. I que up, get in the lobby, and immediately the one guy is being very aggressive (ADC or Feed), and another guy is being equally aggressive and he was going to pick ADC before the other guy. Normally, I don't really care that much, but since I'm one game away, I thought I'd dodge. When i go to dodge, I get a message that I will lose LP if I dodge and will lose a placement game if I"m in a series ( I never dodge, so this was new, I just knew you got a time penalty in normals)

Why do you get penalties this severe for dodging in ranked? I realize you can't have NO penalty, which is why they give you a time penalty. However, If I want to avoid people who are being toxic before the game even starts, why should I be punished even further than not being able to play a game for a few minutes? I was really sad when I saw that warning screen

Because if the penalty isn't severe people would just constantly dodge promo games until they get exactly the team comp/position they want.

They already have the time penalty (which scales, I believe; starts at 5, goes up to over an hour); That's a pretty big deterrent to just dodge every time you don't get the exact position you want unless you have unlimited time to waste to get a perfect scenario. There should be a way to get out of a game where people are being toxic before that game even starts without losing LP imo.

It's not about stopping the same person from repeatedly dodging. It's from stopping a lot of people dodging to get that perfect comp/pick. In higher Elos, it can easily take 5+ minutes to find a game. Imagine if out of the 10 people playing, every single one of them dodged once.

It's always weird when I stop playing Ori for a bit then pick her up again. I always question why I ever stop. Her versatility and teamfighting is just absolutely bonkers. Arguably too good, but too hard to nerf w/o making her bad so she just gets to sit around as a staple.

I think a dodge in a series should just count as a loss, not drop you out of your series instantly. I mean, yesterday i had one fucktarded team in champ select, i dodged, lost 3 LP. Not fair but meh, its 3 LP so i dont have to sit through 20-30 mins of "Fuck you Jewtard" - Worth it.

Instantly dropping your series so you dont have to put up with such complete cunts is a bit much, its hard to balance such a thing but i think a loss instead of dropping would be better, I mean chances are if you want to dodge your looking at a 99% loss anyway, saves you the time of putting up with idiots.

TL;DR - Make dodging count as 1 loss in a series, not instant dropkick to the nuts.

It really is a shame we have to be punshed for retards in our team because other people dodge like retards. Never ending circle of hate
