Almost always armour. Maybe put in a couple of mana regen yellows, but with the widespread availability of mana regen for midgame, doran's rings give you 18 mana per wave of passive regen, with up to 24(28 cannon) per minion wave based on last hitting ability, chalice and blue, it's almost never a good idea to use mana regen runes any more. Flask/faerie openings give more than enough mana to make it to first base/blue buff, and if it's a cloth matchup, it wouldn't be a good idea to forgo armour anyways. | ||

Thanks for the replies, stuck with armor. Dont have many runepages free so after setting up mainroles i had 1 slot for an AP haha. I went with Mpen reds+1crit / Armor yellow / AP Blue / AP Quints Guess thats an ok standard? | ||

Yea, counter-positioning j4 has been really hard; I'm still not sure its actually possible, considering Flash+QE+R range is ridiculous. | ||
