Only Singed and Renekton I bought after testing them. Blind-bought Ashe because she was cheap and reminded me of Drow Ranger but ended up not playing her.
It didn't stop me from enjoying a bunch of champs (I loved Morde and Kog but in the end I wasn't willing to spend the 6300 for Kog just yet) and playing them during their free weeks, but since I was knew and there were dozens of champs I just thought to myself "it's useless to have 10 if I don't play them, just play the free weeks that you haven't tried yet or you enjoy, and spam the rest of games with the 2-3 champs you own and love". Feels useless to spend so much IP on so many cheap champs just because they're cheap, when you won't have the time to play them all anyway because you're busy discovering the game via the free week champs.
Actually, having more champs is useful in champ select because you can only swap amongst champs you own. Sometimes I rely on people having the cheaper champs when I want to play a specific role.
My first purchase was a full set of dodge runes and Kassadin
...because Jax was free during the week the store first opened

Well, no. It's better to stick to 1 character when discovering the system to get used to the map/dynamics/HUD. I don't see why you would need 20 chars to learn to play :p
When I started playing more «seriously», I bought champs in IP order, ofc. But when you start, I don't see what's weird with sticking to 1 champ.

I was leveling to 30 do you think I was playing drafts for most of the games? 
(Even now I miss a bunch of AD carries and most if not all of the FotM solo laners, same with some junglers.)

i will always remember the game i encountered meteos in normal queue
it is because i met this one guy in our premade 4 who acted like a giant douche. he kept complaining about me not ganking all the time for him and he got shit on by meteos's xerath.
i thought he was joking about the ganks but it turns out he was being serious which made me laugh even more.

I just spammed Ali (free for some thing) and Ryze at the beginning. I never felt better than like at lvl 15 when someone was like "CarryStar"

Que people complaining that the issue with Corki is phos bomb mana cost and valk cd, and that Riot isn't fixing what is wrong with him.

Those Corki buffs are actually going to be huge.
Now if only they tweaked his phos bomb slightly. Still feel that thing costs too much mana when you compare it to a Graves' buckshot.

Kennen gets popular again and Riot wants to nerf his base damage, passive, and his HP regen. I hope those changes don't go live as just the passive change would probably be enough if Riot feels he's too strong currently.

Personally I'm ok with all of those changes to Kennen with the exception of his base ad. Already hard enough to last hit with him at tower, dunno why you'd make it even tougher. Not like 4 ad really hurts in auto attacking champions anyway, considering they still have plenty of armor.

I don't play Corki, but wont they be right?

I feel like kennen has his weakness at level 1. If you watch how cris played out renekton vs kennen in the LCS it was pretty impressive.

Would surprise me a lot if he gets to the fotm.I can't for the life of me find a reason to pick corki.For everything I would want to accomplish as an ad I can name at least 2 champs that can do it better(maybe he is #2 of poking I guess so at least he has that going for him).

Corki has really strong close/mid-range burst, a good escape and he's really good against mass armor like if your team has only physical dmg.
Otherwise he gets outclassed by most things.

They should revert all of the Corki nerfs. It would be a fun experiment. I miss S1 Corki and want to see if he was really as OP as he was considered at the time or if the ADC pool was just way too shallow.
I feel like you could probably take S1 Corki, place him in today's League, and he'd still be underplayed.

That's exactly how he did it. Shoved it out. Backed. And came back to lane before kennen could shove back. Then rinse and repeat. It was pretty impressive imo.
