._. Try epicmafia Recommending a mafia forum outside of teamliquid's? What is this blasphemy?!
But... it is good!!!
EDIT: Seriously. Try it. www.epicmafia.com
It's not forum-based. It is played in real time in a chatroom environment.... each game takes about 5-30 minutes in the training room.

Draven has been eating bans for a while, probably never saw it due to your elo =p

I was always confused when people translated it to "disregard bitches, acquire currency" because I always interpreted "fuck bitches" as have sex with them, not blow them off.

Dumps on too many of my ADs and I like yoloing support with full gp10.

Just when I found something that was super fun to play the god damn na lcs had to ruin it.The 2 months it lasted was fun.At least when draven gets nerfed maybe the noobs will stop picking/banning him so I can play it whenever I want lolz.

It's really satisfying when you learn the matchups and begin to out trade people as Draven. He's so intimidating.
+ Show Spoiler +The secret is that he out trades pretty much everything.

._. The part that gets me the most is the start. Once there are kills and lynchs and stuff peole have suspicions and talk about it, but I just can't picture how the first day goes. @_@ (In the versions I play you usually elect a Mayor/Boss/whatever whose vote will count double on the first day, but not lynch anyone.)

Which is why I tend to stay quiet until like 6 hrs into D1. It's always someone making some idle comment and then getting jumped on for little reason.

I stopped enjoying mafia IRL the day I got lynched D1 because I had to pee. I also get lynched for being "too quiet" a lot which is dumb because my friends should know me well enough to know that I'm always quiet. but if I start being vocal they suddenly start getting suspicious too. At social gatherings I also don't like playing games where people can get "out" because once you're out you're stuck sitting there watching and don't get to be as involved (although mafia's one of the more fun games to spectate)
and I second the recommendation of EpicMafia, it's really fun! Given my bitterness about getting randomly lynched, I especially liked EpicMafia because the games tend to be a bit more about strategy than random suspicions

Oh wait I never realized that Mafia is actually this game... It's called Thiercelieux's Werewolves around here. At least that's the one I know.

I mean, he was just playing to win, I was more surprised that everyone just went along with him lol.

Maybe I'm missing sth but was there more to the "role swap" from tsm than literally only Reginald now being able the pick and ban the champs? obv Karma bit them in the ass with 0:3 @ MLG

Yip, also meant the scoreboard was messed up since no one bothered to change it around.

Problem is with LCS they won't switch it because they order by role, not actual lane in game. Which I think needs to bring up the debate of reassigning the LCS roles to "solo lane/duo lane" or something. I remember Magusd and Alex Penn discussing it on Twitter, but Magus was sure that this was a legit swap, well obviously it is not. Dyrus still refers to himself as a top laner in his tweets, and Regi is playing the same champs in the same lane.
Sort of weird for a company that "does not want to enforce a meta" that they seem hellbent on enforcing the 1-1-2 meta....
|
Ever since lane swaps and the legitimacy of AD mids, I've been using the solo/duo references when it comes to competitive.
Occasionally I'll use off-laner for a solo going against a duo, and a 1-on-1 or heads-up lane for the solo vs. solo.
|
Changing scoreboard spots 2hard, so TSM has to say "regi's the top laner honest" in order for him to be at the top of the list.
