The problem isn't higher ping, it's unstable ping. Someone who plays at 150-200 consistently will have no trouble at all. However, if you give me a connection that ranges from 30-80 ping, I would hate it.

It's the fluctuations that kills play, not slightly higher ping.

It's not so much that a small decrease in ping makes you play somewhat better, more than the fact that in lower leagues, you're more likely to bump into people with absolutely abysmal (e.g. 250+) pings playing from a bad connection or halfway across the world.

For example, they don't understand they can counter jungle amumu and they ban him. They dont understand how to play against blitz, so they ban him. I don't like when people ban shit because they don't know how to play. I'd rather them ban things that you can't necessarily play around.
