Being demoted means the system thinks you're in the division you deserve to be in right? It wouldn't demote you from gold II if you're MMR is still that of plat III even if you lose a bunch at 0 LP? | ||

The front and the backend (Divisions and MMR) are completely seperate from each other. The only interaction between the 2 is how many points you gain/lose | ||

Although in my experience you have to actually lose at 0 LP, rather than just "drop to 0 LP or less". | ||
