Couldn't an organization have a B team living in their house / scrimming with them / streaming / etc, and just use them as substitute players in the LCS model rather than having them compete as an LCS team?
It's mostly just bullshit that you can't have two CLGs or two TSMs or whatever in LCS but you can have multiple teams competing in the same OGN Events.
At least part of the reason Korea is likely the strongest region is because every team is actually two teams that compete and train with each other and both teams can win OGN Champions so both teams can financially carry their weight. In NA or EU if your second team gets good enough to qualify for LCS you now have to drop a team that knows everything about you because of Riot's rules so there's really no point in having second teams unless you're doing it to develop talent (like Curse Academy).
Granted, it's entirely possible that NA and EU wouldn't properly utilize their second teams if they could have them but that's completely irrelevant to the fact that Riot has rules that bar them from having two competitive teams.
edit: Also, if you had a B team living with you I don't think you could justify the financial burden of having a team that's just gonna try to qualify for LCS in the next split (and they'll probably be a favored amateur team to qualify considering how much practice they've gotten against you and likely other teams). If they qualify you now have a team that's going to compete against you that knows you better than anyone else and you don't get to reap the financial benefits. If they don't qualify you still have a team that can't compete in the LCS and that isn't profitable to your organization. So unless Riot lets B teams play in the LCS there is zero point in having them in NA or EU.

Honestly the longer the rest of TL pretends like LoL doesn't exist the more time we have to form up a cohesive and polite user base. That way when TL finally does accept LoL we won't get drowned out by the official LoL forums.

TL LoL mods really hyping up this twitter shit. OK OK I'll sign in and follow you dweebs.

Now I can't log into EUW constantly gives me error then closes the client. Missions.

Really big mistake by the TL management.

People also need to understand that there are a bunch of reasons that Riot needs to allow this kind of thing.
#1. Cost of living. It is flat out higher in America/Europe than elsewhere. Especially California. #2. Other opportunity. You can simply make more money doing non-esports things, particularly in America.
Those 2 things make the risk/reward profile of breaking into esports so much less appetizing to Americans.

Ouch, TL LoL invisible unless you click a stealthy "other" button.
I wouldn't count on our community getting much bigger.
EDIT: The only other alternative to having B teams allowed to compete is paying for 10 man rosters so that the "B" team is salaried, even if they don't compete all the time.

I disabled dota 2, I'm such a bad guy.

lol @ other being unselected by default...

I would embrace SC2 if they ever put in a proper highground mechanic. I mean I played it a lot and got decently high level but just got more and more frustrating. Why would you ever put in a completely binary defenders advantage I don't know.

Well EUW seems to be broken. I'm stuck sitting in a lobby of a game not starting.
