Pretty much the second they had a "kind of" big event, TL admins jumped on it. League had already been big for an extended period. It's pretty much 100% a result of their personal bias.
Don't expect anything.

Meaning that the game has been around for a long time. Also, calling TI2 poorly run is incredibly misinformed, especially in comparison to S2 LoL Worlds, which had far larger issues. I'm sorry you're so hurt by this, but I think TL deserves a little more consideration than what you're doling out.

Sorry if you have your calender wrong but even if we were s2 worlds blows TI2 out of the water in every possible way to judge the events. S2 worlds had one bad day out of the 3 it did leading up to the greatest finals we've ever seen. TI2 and TI3 are done in an auditorium with only a few thousand seats, s2 worlds was done in USC's basketball stadium. S2 worlds had live qualifiers that rocked the entire world over a period of months, TI2 invited a bunch of teams and then had an online qualifier for the last 2. The scaling of the events where a bit different.

The scaling of the events where a bit different. I can't tell if you are joking or not. Using phrases like "rocked the entire world" says you are either a huge fanboy or are being sarcastic. Both events had their problems but they are comparable. S2 in the outside arena was rather lackluster and terribly conducted. In the arena it was pretty dam amazing. TI2 had a closer feel and an extended group stage which could be akin to the qualifiers held. They had a panel which ESL has since introduced to LCS and some other events do similar. Either way they were both awesome.

I'm not too worried about not being accepted more largely on TL, there's always been an elitist SC bias against LoL and in favor of Dota 2. LoL is just too "casual" and "easy" for many SC players to accept (funny, as so many of us were strong SC/SC2 players I'm sure - I know I was a top masters P who could beat 95% of the 'elite' SC2 players who lawl at LoL).

There are so many LoL websites out there already writing articles and covering tournaments that I don't think TL will amount to more than a drop in an ocean by officially picking it up. If these guys weren't so devoted to the game I would have no idea why they would write since they seem to go so under-appreciated. Guess TL has become a lot more about politics these days then they once were. What ever happened to the final edits section where good articles were put and displayed. Don't see why TL has to "officially pick up a game" in order for content to be displayed and appreciated. edit: The more I think about it the more I wonder why you guys even do anything on this site lol.
