I am not a good maths guy and I have some maths I want do :< maths?! but your profile says you're american! I laughed. And I'd rather do it in the Quinn thread, but basically. We want to know a bunch of things, but for starters: Math behind AD reds vs. Apen reds on Quinn. It's prob obvious that Apen becomes better late game, but depending on target armor, is it also better early game? Also which item gives more early game burst damage, Brutalizer or Bilgewater Cutlass. It depends on the ratio of base damage to bonus damage. For Quinn armor penetration is obviously far better because of her shit ratios. You don't need maths for this. However, APen Marks are still quite weak and won't become better until around lvl 5 and like 2 Doran Blades anyway. APen Quints + AD Marks > AD Marks + AD Quints for her, though.
Interestingly enough, the higher target armor is the better flat AD seems to be. For example vs 30 armor and 50 armor, AD is better vs 50.

We're using lifesteal quints, though.
And this is for mid lane, where we assume targets start with like, 30 armor tops.
At what level does Apen become better?

Always always put AD quints, arpen marks. Huge efficiency loss to ever put non-AD in quints when you need AD.

qtpie: "I'm not sure what lissandra's doing but I'm pretty sure the enemy team has less an idea of what she's doing" lol

qtpie has been on a roll today, especially considering the Riven NA tourny. If only he got interviewed after Dig's wins he'd have a much bigger fanbase.

I'm pretty much certain that both Dignitas and Riot don't want to interview qtpie ever after an LCS game. The only real interview he's ever done was with Odee sitting right beside him for the entire interview lol.

Pretty sure HP regen quints are worse than armor, same principle rejuv beads are worse than cloth.

I don't question then for doing that, at all, just pointing it out as an observation. He has a personality that most LoL fans would find entertaining, albeit rated R.

I have no clue why you'd run lifesteal quints.
Anyway I guess you want all AD runes for the early game, Harrier base dmg is kind of bad early on. APen is much better later though...
If you start with an AD item like a Doran Blade and Longsword and have AD Quints, then APen becomes a lot better because it helps with Harrier's bad early base damage.

291.5 gold value vs 255,6

Well I'm playing in the tournament tomorrow and based on scrimming with other high elo Riven mains I'm going to run 25 armor runes + cloth armor. The math might be somewhat in regens favor, but in practice, not having the armor means you lose on trades and can't commit as well the the opponent, meaning that it is very easy for you to say, take an extra auto.

Oh, yeah for Riven vs Riven that seems like the way to go, because of the shield as well.
Still, hp regen could let you gain an advantage in those situations where you both have ran out of potions..

Can you post your math for this?

Validated by Loci. All you haters can suck my dick.
Yeah, Mantra use is still pretty hairy for me as well. Early on, it usually goes to Q. Sometimes I like to use it on W cuz of the healing.
Later team fights it's almost always designated to E - Locket + Shurelia way too good to pass up.

With the Best Riven tournament going on, I want to ask:
What would be the most boring "Best XXX" champion mirror matchup tournament.
My early submission would be Alistar.

Soraka would be a game of who can mash Q more.

MVPimp / CptJack run 2 lifesteal quints and 1 armor pen quint, on every AD they play.

My early submission would be Alistar. At least with Ali you can try Flash-Headbutt into tower.
Nunu, Janna, Leona or Soraka would get stale very quickly.

Pretty sure every single person who plays adc and can afford them plays with lifesteal lol.
