Alistar is overlooked because the vast majority of people play him like it's Summoner's Rift. The correct way to play him is to max E, cap CDR ASAP, and heal your team for 500+ health over the course of every creep wave. That number is not an exaggeration, and is based entirely on base healing (between max CDR and -2s on the cooldown per dead enemy unit, he can cast E 5-6 times per creep wave). Maokai brings strong poke, constant self-sustain (provided there's something to hit), and arguably the most ridiculously strong teamfighting ultimate in the game for narrow corridors. Built tanky-AP he can be as unkillable as Swain, but with better poke, easier mana costs, and he makes the entire team tanky. I always laugh maniacally when I get these two, especially because no one expects them to be that influential. In other news, ARAM on the PBE is fantastic. One extremely notable change is that you don't get to see the opposing team composition until the game locks in everything (including runes and masteries). At first I didn't like this change, especially as it makes it impossible to cheese all AP or all AD compositions with a full MR/Armor page. However, it's amazing for preventing dodges. Between that and the reroll feature the ARAM queue is incredibly fun. Also, the new map actually zooms out substantially more than Summoner's Rift. I found this difficult to adjust to at first, everything seemed less responsive and harder to track. Eventually I got the hang of it. | ||

Because Lux has a stun? The only higher range stun in the entire game is Ashe's ult, and it's not an AoE stun(actually now that I think of it Janna's knockup might be longer range... actually nah probably not longer than max range syndra stun) About not considered trash, that just has been my impression from people's comments regarding Syndras in my games(theres very very few though). I guess it makes sense that she'd be difficult... Wonder if she's an actual sleeper op. Also geez, after playing a ton of games at the unplayable 15-20 FPS at lowest settings, I just realized that when I set the league of legends system priority to the highest possible, my FPS goes up to 25-30 which is actually very playable.... Wish I had realized this earlier, would have saved me from much frustration | ||
