That Dlift interview looks like the intro to a 30 for 30.

I completely agree with you. But after watching his most recent interview about his friends and family and growing up, I kind of respect him a bit more.

The new PBE Community is looks like a less intuitive version of reddit.

Apparently ESEA is running their LoL finals.
http://www.twitch.tv/esea
I had absolutely no idea it was on; stumbled upon it via twitch front page.

In Season 1 and early Season 2 he was very different. When he was on Curse he just listened to his teammates and got criticism from other players on how to improve. When he first joined CLG it was really similar where he just let Chauster tell hm what to do (although after being on CLG for like a month he butted heads with saint a lot but I think part of that was because Chauster butted heads with saint).
If you look at pictures of him before he lived with Travis he looks like the nerdiest looking Asian kid ever. I think being on CLG with people like Hotshot and Chauster along with having tons of success and the community calling him the best ADC in NA allowed him to develop into this character of constant smack talk. I like it, I'm sure CLG likes it as it gets them attention. I kind of miss when Reginald would shit talk people too though (not the bro bro bro baylife shit but the general smack talk Regi used to lay down was great).
But people often take his smack talk and arrogance as a sign that he doesn't want to improve when in reality Doublelift's personal philosophy about this game is one of the best in NA imo. He listens to criticism about his play, tries to improve, and admits when he plays like shit (granted he also makes it known when he feels he's playing well).
I'm pretty sure my dream team would consist of saintvicious, Doublelift, and Reginald in some capacity. Not enough supports or top laners shit talk enough to make this team work though.

Have been using my smurf to learn ADC. Tried out Sivir and really liked her but HATED her mana costs. Also I have been seeing some pro Ezreal's using Spirit Of The Eldar Lizard > Manamura > Iceborn Gauntlet. I was thinking that maybe that build would work on Sivir? You would get tons of true damage procs with W and Q, and her W gives you lots of chances to proc Iceborn, combined with her passive would make escape impossible. You get AS from her ult, and these items would help negate mana problems, idk it just seems good.
However I suck ass at ADC, so someone tell me why this is stupid, cause I am sure there is a reason I am missing.

No escape, q is harder to land, less mobility. Works on Ez since he can spam q forever and q procs it all.

However I suck ass at ADC, so someone tell me why this is stupid, cause I am sure there is a reason I am missing. Your damage sucks as a result (which is the point of an ADC, the right click/sustained damage). The build is gimmicky at best, even on Ezreal (who's the best candidate for it since his Q procs them all, and has escapes for days). ADC damage comes from autoattacks benefiting from multiplicative stats (AD, AS, Crit Chance, and Crit Damage [also ArmPen]), which as Sivir you're neglecting given her R's AS bonus. Plus SotEL has been nerfed pretty hard.
For an ADC build, BT, IE, PD, SS, LW, and BoRK are your damage items, plus a defensive item (RO, GA, BV, FM). With Sivir, BT or IE first.
Have I blitzed you with enough acronyms?
Also, thoughts on mid Panth? The ESEA finals just had an 8/1/(8?) Panth.

I think if you want to go for a proc-item for the slow it should be trinity. Sivir's really strong in small skirmishes though, she's just bad at 5v5's compared to other ADCs. She can easily 1v1 other ADC's and most other heroes depending on what you build for.

Randuin's is also up there (depends on the opponents you're facing).
EDIT:

Her split-push is still strong'ish (I miss old Sivir and toggle W q_q), and her kite is potentially very good...if it weren't for her terrible, terrible autoattack range, in a day and meta when AA range matters a whole helluva lot.

But she's still underplayed for how strong her ulti is. On the hunt is, imo, by far the strongest ulti of any ADC because of how long it lasts, especially when there are 3+ AD heroes on the team.

Figured out why he was there in the first place. BorK first Vayne who roamed around after we lost 3 towers and played 1v5 on the other side of the map.

I really miss old toggle W and 75% AS. Tower pushing was never easier, and in the off-chance you had an opportunity to autoattack consistently in a teamfight, you melted the enemy team (or you could attack a turret and still do that). Also, dodge boots on old Sivir was hilarious, as was BV.
EDIT: ESEA twitch chat has too much Espagnol for me to understand. Knowing French doesn't apparently help all that much qq. Currently 1-0 for Motion Gaming Titanium.

In my opinion, the biggest thing contributing to Sivir's lack of play is the issue of comparison. When people play Sivir now, it's so butchered. She's been hit so many times by the nerf on her ult, it's just ridiculous really. Anytime Sivir got anywhere close to being competitive, Riot shut it down really quick. They don't seem to like that ult at all. I'm surprised they keep it there instead of just removing it.
Overall, all the older people who've been playing LoL just compare Sivir to her older versions and feel bad. The newer players just don't consider an exciting champion at all. Her skill set isn't anything like any of the ADCs, and she really isn't so easy to just pick up. Why play her when it's much more exciting and fun to play any of the other ADCs.
