Its going to happen at the next MLG with the teams playing their matches at the event and then having 4 other teams from the rest of the world playing on sunday. I think they got gambit as one of those teams for the exhibition tourny at the very least.

Exhibition NA v EU match will likely be rescheduled to some unknown date in the future. Riot is trying to organise an LCS viewing event and some other fun stuff for those people who have unrefundable plane tickets. More details to come when things are sorted out...

TBH I'd be interested in seeing the two play together under any setting since it feels like the two have very compatible playstyles.

Or 9 pots + 2 wards? cloth + ward + 2pot is not enough sustain to survive most lanes. So i am really at a loss here. I like how for 2 years everyone "knew" tops couldn't afford to start with a ward. Bottle comes out and everyone starts bottle + ward. Bottle gets nerfed to hell but everyone still starts ward. I remember Dyrus raging liking crazy at a Yorick once for starting boots + ward + pot, calling him a retard because everyone knew you HAD to get those 2 extra potions on top. Starting cloth is still fine in a lot of lanes.

Maybe with aggressive jungler like Lee but I still start my build with insane amount of sustain and still do okay.

If you have no ward, you can never cross the entrance of the river, or you are dead if he is there. Which usually means you lose lane either to that gank, or to missing 10 cs for nothing.

I really don't see why I'd ever start anything else. No lanes are instant kills and the wards prevent a lot of ganks.

Someone is going to have to convince me otherwise. Razor+Spirit - 1400 gold, 2 item slots (with Spirit having multiple strong build paths and so is still reasonably slot-efficient) 25 Armor 14 HP5, 7 MP5 20% bonus damage to jungle monsters 25% chance for 300 damage proc (increased to 360 by the Spirit Stone passive) 10 true damage to jungle monsters vs. Wriggles - 1600 gold, 1 item slot 30 Armor 15 Damage 10% Lifesteal 25% chance for 500 damage proc Sight ward Razors+Spirit has faster jungling speed on champs that are at least somewhat ability-reliant for jungling speed (a pure autoattacker is just barely faster with Wriggle's until their natural AD growth gets high enough to make Razor+Spirit's % damage increase more than the difference in proc damage), most junglers buy defensive items as their first items, so typically Lifesteal will not outperform HP5 as a sustain stat at that stage of the game. Wriggle's has a tad more armor, and gives damage against champs, but no mana regen, costs 200 more, and doesn't have as much flexibility in how you build up to it. On champs that have zero use for the Spirit Stone mana regen perhaps Wriggle's is better, but quite a few Razors junglers get good use out of the extra mana regen. EDIT: actually, if you account for the likelihood of Wriggle's procs overkilling small jungle monsters, I think even a pure autoattacker jungles faster with Razor+Spirit (since Razor+Spirit is consistent higher damage and smaller proc that overkills less).

Start off the game by feeding 4 - 8 kills. After that make sure your team feeds another 15 - 20. After all of this, you sit at your base turtling while making sure to buy a bork, spirit visage, and stack your Q. Once 55 minutes pass, you are free to move out, proceed to spam Q, and get a penta. Then kill their Towers, Inhib, and Nexus faster than a level 25, 6 item Tiny. (Yes toplane is my worst role, and got lucky because the other team didn't know how to close out a game.)

I remember Dyrus raging liking crazy at a Yorick once for starting boots + ward + pot, calling him a retard because everyone knew you HAD to get those 2 extra potions on top. Starting cloth is still fine in a lot of lanes. I think this is being really shortsighted as to exactly why everyone was opening with boots. Base MS was lower before S3 and boots gave more MS. Now if you factor in the fact that every single jungler was able to open with boots in S2, if you didn't open with boots you were in for a pretty rough time in any solo lane. If you opened with boots+ward+pot then the opposing laner could just trade with you heavily and take momentum, and cloth+ward+2pots wasn't really that good either. Like a huge reason as to why laners don't need to take boots as a starting item isn't because flask magically came out. It has a lot more to do with the fact that the ms boost from boots were reduced and junglers generally have to open with machete or else their clearing speed will be too shit.
