The argument for ezreal is "why would you care about balanced stats when ezreal doesn't buy any attack speed until the third item... if he buys it at all". How am i supposed to respect an argument for buying 40% attack speed when most strong builds spend ~6000 gold without a single AS item (boots excluded)?
IIRC current Ezreal optimal build path is BT,LW,Triforce or BT,LW,IE. (with BT,LW,ICB sometimes) Except Ezreal wasn't always BT->LW. That is only the current build in vogue because of the particular strength of items currently. Triforce first was quite frequent S2, BT->Shiv was common at the start of S3, and there have even been games in S2 that called for IE->PD.
It's a matter of the power of the items available, not just a pure matter of "attack speed first item isn't good for Ezreal".

Now, people are going BotRK into IE into PD which is a hugely effective build. And she still benefits best from IE into PD, rather than BotRK into IE because her two item timing is more what we care about and IE,PD is vastly superior for a safe carry than BotRK/IE. And because the auto attack DPS of BotRK is vastly overstated by assuming that enemies have full hit points when we start hitting them. Its great as a fourth item on her though I would argue that the current state and speed of the game demands a strong 1st item timing on all AD carries. The speed of the game has moved forward with pushes and teamfighting far earlier than we saw in S2. But this varies greatly based on playstyles by region, level of play, and whether you're talking about solo queue or competitive play.

There's also the fact that BotRK+LW+3xDefensive items provides "acceptable" damage lategame. Items that allow strong lategame damage with 1-2 items, which in turn allows flexibility for defensive itemization, are by nature very suitable for melee heroes (ranged heroes by nature are less inclined to take advantage of this flexibility).

Spirit of the Lizard Elder does work with his ult, each cannon ball will proc the true damage.
I've been playing lots of GP as of late. He mostly gets dunked on in lane so you have to max oranges first and just farm it out.
I'm pretty sure gangplank's Q with tiamat gives the parrrrley gold bonus for every minion killed. I would imagine iceborn's aoe damage interacts the same.

Predicted the downfall from CLG.eu/EG already 3 months ago!
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=17373150
I think that CLG.eu are really are going to fall off in season 3. They are the team with the most marketing value but i dont think we are gonna see lots of them like we did in season 2, because all lanes are lacking apart from Froggen.
pm me for the lotto numbers for the next 3 months!

You say this as if Froggen was the only saving grace of the team today. Froggen played just as poorly as anyone else on the team, and they lost as a team.

I agree that its higher-levels scaling is pretty nuts (Diana is too, but people don't realise it because they rarely go for it; Kha, though, has been rightfully nerfed, though it's still stupidly strong once you're high level with his ult). She's got a huge Attack Speed steroid and Riot just introduced a one stop shop for DPS (BotRK). Combined with her passive's high base damage she can do really well building tanky.
How are you building her?
I feel that if I go Tanky I do like no damage, and if I build glass cannon I can't utilize bird form. Maybe like full bruiser after Botrk?

They're just clearing up Froggen's earlier comment about people not using voicecom. He worded like no-one but him was responding to voicecom which Krepo asked him to clarify.

Bork is taking over the league. It's not uncommon to see 4 blades on one team and 3 on another. Chaining them on unsuspecting people in teamfights is hilarious.

I just got 5 lp for winning an hour long game. 5. Fucking. LP.

At least with BC Riot had the excuse of "S3, massive amount of changes, something broken slipped through the cracks". Botrk was already strong (if situational) and didn't really need a huge buff.

does riot have no real testers or are the designers just completely ignoring them cause of huge egos?
Thats my question regarding botrk

They went 5-2 before the super week, they had a rough super week but I think they'll bounce back, they won't finish outside of the top 4 anyway

A buff was nice in theory, make it more appealing to pick up against health stacking teams as an ADC, just a little too strong/or too cheap depending on how you look at i.

Also, thanks for clearing up Lizard Elder/ult interaction for me.
