Also, how the fk do you deal with AP Trynd top? I really don't want to start wasting a ban on him but holy crap as if the heal wasn't annoying enough he just split pushes all day ;_;

That said, not taking Smite on a Jungler is the epitome of stupidity. Not only would you have no way to contest for Dragon or Baron in a team situation, the enemy Jungler will counterjungle you all day. If he catches you doing a buff, he will last hit it for sure. Enjoy 1v1'ing the enemy Jungler who has your buffs. Edit: lol Yango. I, too, was baited by VayneAuthority. so gg. I actually brought up both, so I can understand the confusion. In a "not taking smite as jungle" scenario, you'd have someone else pick up smite on the team for dragon/baron. You'd have to play someone with a built-in minion execute (nunu/cho), or is a fantastic duelist. Probably still be rough once the other team SAW that you didn't have smite though. Zed top is sleeper OP, he can be insane in good hands.

He brings absolutely nothing to a team pre 6 and post 6 other junglers do his job better. It'd be neat like, if he could get the first rank of his ult at level 4. Then he'd be cool. As is he's just awful.

I wonder what the "oldest" champion that consistently shows up in competitive play. Nunu and Jax probably.

He is still playble, though, especially toplane. He can still terror his lane, i have even seen voyboy falling to it last weekish.

I'm curious as to how many of the older champs such as Ashe and Warwick would be played more often in tourneys if they received a kit overhaul, or at least on one of their abilities (I'm looking at you, Ashe E).

My favorite one is mid, especially against skillshot heavy champs, against lux it's so much fun, wanna q me ? Nvm tp into you. Oh is that your ult ? Oh it's ok I'll just use mine and take 0 dmg, and if you wanna slow me to run I still my R shadow, and meanwhile my W is going to be up soon so I can chase you and slow you :D His all in at 3 is too much for any squishy mid, I usually get fb after poking him with q a bit then when he's about 75% life l'll W onto him, tp, double E hit ( for the slow ), auto to aplly passive, one more Q and then ignite and walk away like a boss. They look nothing like what they did in the beta. TF had that Destiny/Gate change right before the beta ended. Nunu is closest to the original I think. Only thing that's changed to his kit is the values on his abilities.

Consistent dot damage to apply the passive, as well as CC for his ult.

Swain is one of my favorite champs- you'd also have Q to slow him when he tries to pursue, and Swain loses nothing to chickenshout. Additionally, if he plays silly during his ult you can QE him when it's nearly over. You can get catalyst and armguards for tankiness early as well.

Anivia moreso because she never dropped out of proffesional play like Nunu did in early season 2.

Nunu will always be good because Blood Boil will always be good. He can't jungle anymore though. Jungle right now is this ridiculous powerfest where if you don't have a ranged gapcloser, hard CC, damage or tankiness without building any items and a strong level 2-4, there's no reason jungling.

If we still had beta TF or Twitch or Jax or ... There's a reason they had to nerf them.

Try to get some actual statistical data on if the older a champion is the less they're played. I imagine there are a few outliers like Nunu, but for the most part older champions aren't used as much.
