And later on it helps everyone. I think I could win games with thresh by doing nothing but getting people out who get caught.

Assuming they actually click the lantern , lol. Tunnel vision too strong sometimes.

For example, lately, I am having a lot of success with Xin Zhao in the jungle (who doesn't?). However, sometimes, I end up getting the kills (and not my lane). So I'm the one who is fed, and not my team (well, technically, they should still be ahead with EXP + assist gold) My typical build is, no matter what, 1- Machete + 5 pots 2- Boots + madreds 3- Health crystal to Iron Solari ASAP 4- Lvl 2 boots, or giants belt Build tanky, etc. But doing this build, I feel like I'm not able to "carry". I can disrupt in teamfight, etc. But I cannot solo Top (if top is losing). And I can hardly kill someone 1v1 quickly (except carries, but most of them won't wander alone). Even ahead, with my build, I feel I get out-dmg by other junglers like Vi, Hecarim, J4... Is it a build issue? If so, can I build more dmg items? Is it a play style difference? Should I stick with the tanky route? I think Im 70%+ wins with tanky build, but I feel like some of the games, going with more damage could have secured the game, especially when one of my carries or the top is behind. I've dropped "support" jungler since I discovered Xin Zhao (beginning S3). But I still feel that my xin zhao is being played as a support champion (I used to play alot of Maokai, Amumu, Malphite or Cho Gath in S2). Thoughts?

Otherwise, put some dmg in there, only tank items isnt gonna carry a heavy team. Like a brutalizer after solari. If you only build hp, how is it different from mao? You are just a CC bot that soaks dmg. Or play vi, she has build in dmg and you can build random items.

One thing I still haven't gotten the hang of with thresh is his lategame. As a general rule should I be trying to initiate with his Q-R-E or should I save those skills to peel for my carries?

Really good at getting his lanes fed, then I feel kind of useless after. My team always has troubles capitalizing on huge leads I get for them, too used to oldschool farm fests. If you curious about Xin in particular, Bly08 from TL plays a ridiculous amount of Xin Zhao. He currently a diamond level player with most Xin games in NA. He has a replay pack of about ten games in this post: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=247497¤tpage=19#374

LOL. I dunno, I think bly deserves props for being really good xin. I dunno, just wanted to help but I suck at Xin. I prefer J4 much much, I find his teamfighting vastly superior. That being said I suspect I just doing it wrong. /shrug As fro replays: http://www.leaguereplays.com/download/

I am currently also playing a lot of Xin Zhao, and if I get fed really early I can usually get away with a bruta before locket. Otherwise just getting the kindlegem and then the bruta also seems strong imo. Besides that, if you reach lategame my build of preference is Youmuu's and BC, with the rest being defensive items, which basically gives you 40% CDR plus the power to 3shot carries with your three talon strike. Also just becoming a damage soak works wonders if the enemy hasn't got any fed divers or mobile ap's (think fizz, eve, kass) because they are kinda forced to spend all their damage on you if you just charge in. But that's just my 2 cents and I'm sure there are many other good builds. And as a final note I see a lot of xins maxing Q for no apparent reason while maxing E gives you a sick guaranteed slow really early.
