I mean, this isn't an issue that's exclusive to LoL. "Metagame", FotMs, and general bandwagoning are common in every competitive game.
There are a couple elements to it: - For anything but the best teams, it's easier to gauge progress/improvement in execution than in a new strategy. If you copy a known strategy, its easier to drill your execution and compare your faults with those of better teams. If you're creating something new, it's harder to disjoin the flaws in your execution from the flaws in your strategy. - It's "safer" for a team to copycat strategy and just practice execution. If you spend 100 hours practicing execution, that practice often applies to whatever strategy you may use in the future. If you spend 100 hours coming up with and refining a new strategy, and that strategy becomes obsolete for one reason or another, you might be left with nothing.
I don't think the issue is that teams don't know how much strategy there is in League, or believe that the metagame is well-ingrained, but the risk/reward of spending your practice time on drilling execution vs. developing strategy favors execution unless you're one of the very best.
One reason or another being Riot nerfing everything strong to the ground
Mod I just realized I would pay, well, at least 5 cents for:
Something that strips JUST the streamer's music from the stream. So you hear them talk, the game talk, but not their music. Then you just play your own. The tactical Mute.
Btw I was just in a game and Mandatory Cloud said he was 100% sure you could cleanse knock ups. He said this after he got blitz pulled and died at level 3 or so. Anyways another guy (unstoppable - who btw is an absolute beast jungler in every game I play with him) said you could cleanse the stun after a knock up - which makes sense but does that even happen? Which spells stun you after a knock up?
I'm pretty sure the only knock-up that stuns after the initial knock-up is Alistar's which stuns for 0.5 seconds. I've tried panic-cleansing malp ult and nothing happened.

So yeah, what are these idyats talking about?
Alistar's Pulverize stuns for 0.5 seconds after the knockup. Rupture, Chum the Waters, and Tidal Wave slow after the knockup (obviously, this can be cleansed). Depth Charge both stuns and knocks up. I *think* the stun is longer than the knockup on the higher ranks (and therefore can be cleansed) but I'm not 100% sure.
If you're knocked up, you can't move (or attack) and cast anything. If you cleanse while knocked up, you still can't move (or attack) but you can now use abilities. I think that's what he meant that you cleanse the stun part of the knock up but you still can't move.

Can someone confirm this? Because as far as I'm aware, cleanse doesn't partially cleanse knockups like this.
yeah as I recall multiple knockups - i don't know which ones exactly - are actually short knockups with stuns layered over them, so that tenacity should work fully on them and cleanse should recover from part of them.
I hope y'all not sleeping or other shit. Many of you have probably seen this before or got surprised by it, and I've done it myself quite a few times, but I wanted to try and perfect it today, so I figured might as well upload it and show you guys on TL.
The ward gets in the bush, so unless the bush itself (or the top tribush area) is warded, it's invisible. Takes some practice but you will get it right. I have a video of doing it top lane as well. Also I'd ask not to share it around too much because I don't want it to go viral to the point where everybody knows and expects it (or worst case scenario more lee nerfs)
Can you customise LoL so everything is less shiny? Feel like i'm having a seizure when theres a lot of creeps/minions in lane; i assume i can just turn models/effects down to a lower quality but is there any other way?

just play on low quality setting for what ever is bothering you, models, spells, environment etc
