I mean Elementz has 3k viewers, that's the real mystery. Maybe it'll motivate him to get past plat div 3.

SC2 TLers are so damn petty/anti LoL. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=398356 GOM announces they are moving their studio, with one line of the statement talking about covering other games. Thread degenerates at how its such a shame GOM is going to pick up LoL. This just makes me boggle.

Just leave it as is; GOM are probably going to start broadcasting LoL, no need to try and convince people this is a good thing for esports. It is and that's the end of it

Honestly from reading through that thread there are very few people even mentioning LoL, and of those who do, have of them are ok with it.

Who else do you watch for some league, AP trynd only guy? Nicole?? yea... Crs understanding that with gamse happening regulary, there's no point in hiding strategies. They focus more on execution than fancy shit. There's no counter to clean execution and skills.

It helps that a LOT of us were from the BW days so anytime a SC2 rant against LoL being "too easy" or whatnot pops up we get to sit back and enjoy the delicious irony.

The liz elder item doesnt seem terrible. You lose the benefit to neutral monsters, but the AD is decent and regen is always good. Plus its super cheap. What other options could there be? Spirit of the Lizard Elder Bilgewater Cutlass (even without active this is a good buy, but the vamp scepter piece is not efficient) Brutalizer Doran's

LW is honestly irreplaceable even if the health stacking trend might not make it necessary for you to build it early. IE still makes your damage jump more than any other AD item and not building crit diminishes your dps way too much (IBG Ezreal, for example; IBG Ezreal works purely because of how his kit synergizes with the item incredibly well - and even then it does a less damage). If AD scaling isn't really much of a factor (Kog, for example) and the opposing team is stacking tons of health, it's really just better to build botrk instead of BT. I know Madreds BR doesn't have the slowing effect, but it did 4% max life whereas botrk does 4% current life in damage. I think Madreds BR wins in terms of pure dps since it also had attack speed and it did magic damage. Even adding in armor penetration the old BR was better since it was magic damage and no one got much magic resist. Madreds also costs more but if Botrk was a good item then BR was I think a bit underappreciated which is unfortunate. I actually think it's a decent item to get out of the jungle since it builds out of madreds and doesn't sacrifice a lot of combat stats just to let you clear the jungle. Botrk has a really strong passive though. If you are going to win a trade, then Botrk's slow will add more potential damage than most other items since it'll let you stick to your target for longer. And if you ever need to trade evenly, then Botrk's active is a 200+hp heal and a 100+ damage nuke (after taking into account bruiser armor). There aren't many items in this game that can turn a close fight into a landslide victory. But the 300 damage difference on the active makes me confident that if two champions try to fight each other, and one has a BT, and the other has a Botrk, the one with the Botrk should win. edit: I should try out elder lizard more though. Wikipedia added a new feature for calculating gold costs which a lot of people like to quote. Assuming that madreds' passive is worth 80 ad damage (for 2000 hp targets this is how much magic damage it did, but it does not give ad ratios) then you would have had an item with a 300*25/15 + 40*1550/45 + 80*1550/45 + 45*1050/45 gold value or 5683 gold.

Also in season 2, resists were much more used than HP stacking like now. I rarely see armor in my games, just players with 5k - 6k health.
