Alright, they're stopped. o_o Now what?
I think in our modern age technology has evolved to become more addictive. The things that don't give us pleasure aren't used as much. Work was never meant to be fun, but doing it makes us happier in the long run.

Now that I think about it, does it mean that a knock-back/knock-up/pull can interrupt Thresh's lantern ability and prevent allies from getting to him?

a lot of things make kotl kotl, from antipush illuminate to hero bring back for split push to blinding light giving 80% miss chance. and soraka/chakra magic.

on the other hand dota is such a trendy game so whatever, imo. bans are better served by having a plan going into the match and banning out counters so that you can execute your plan. and not "well i hate kha'zix, let's not play against him. and amumu too." or leaving stuff open so that you can counter it later.

to some extent i feel like dota is like that right now too. same bans, same picks all the time...

Isn't this assuming you let a Lux get to 6items? And at that point, creepwaves are the least of your concerns. Lux is pretty strong, but not crazy OP or anything. She's also super easy to gank and blow up in teamfights.

no lol you don't need 6 items..You can start doing it with a single cdr item, blue buff and a lvl 2,3 ult.
With the high ap ratio it's really easy to outscale the minion health growth and even if you don't you just throw a E(which also has milion range) to the ground and clear the rest.
Creep waves are extremely important for a 5v5 push, especially for the high ground tower. If you eliminate them so efficiently than it gets really retarded.

Being a massive Lux fanboy and almost exclusively playing her, I'm just going to say that this is correct.

All you need to ult every single minion wave while defending a siege is 1 CDR item, blue buff, and level 11. Later in the game you won't even need blue buff. And with a little bit of practice you can do it before the minions even get in vision range of your team.

She can very easily defend a tower 1v3 or 1v4 by just instakilling the minion wave. It's hard to stop.

Best option is to steal her blue and then push while she still has to have it to clear that way. Or split push.

Except there are a lot of people who can basically instaclear from safe range. They dont have to blow ult either.

Ziggs: Throw mines and a bomb
Viktor: one lazer
Xerath: Siege and 2 Q's
In Hungry Hungry Hippos there are no such constraints—one can constantly attempt to collect marbles with one’s hippo, limited only by one’s hippo-levering capabilities.

I dunno, if it's not late game wehre everyone is always grouped and it's REALLY 1v3 and she doesnt have her allies OR her ulti, fuck the turret just go fucking kill her. Have someone designated to take turret shots on the edge and back off after a bit. Lux has a hard time dealing with people jumping on her face, doubly so if her binding misses.

Enemy team tried this exact thing against my Lux yesterday and I got a triple kill.

She's got a snare, a slow, an ult that can get you as you're running away, and with barrier almost 1000 HP of shields. She's hard to tower dive.

The 3 in question did it like idiots, but just sayin', she's not the easiest champ to tower dive.

None of those champions can clear from a distance that is absolutely safe from engages (dives without creeps).
