IIRC it's not taking damage that resets the shield. It still blocks spells, but once it's down, if you take an auto, you need to wait another 25 seconds for it to come back up.

Liandry activates off of spell damage, not magic damage. I don't know if it's right that her passive isn't being counters as a spell or not, but that's why.

I'm toying with the idea, giving Riots favor for health tanking, of holding onto Guise and upgrading it for the %damage. Throwing Rylais/Liandry over Warmog/Void gives her(talking combat stats) 70 more AP, Liandry damage, and all the utility the slow brings for the cost of 200hp.

Janna's got the rather huge problem of her ult is basically blank now. They nerfed it into barely nudging people. Watching Xpecial play her though, if you're good enough to interrupt abilities with her Q then she's still ok. Xpecial countering every Leona jump/Alistar headbutt was pretty cool to watch but me and everyone else really aren't good enough to do that.

It's not really that hard, actually. Janna's Q is so fat that you just kinda throw it in their general direction and the interrupt happens. If it's smartcast, doubletap q.

one of the problems janna has is that she can't outright win the lane. lulu and sona can make you go home with poke, ali/blitz/taric/lux/zyra can kill. soraka can outpoke and outsustain, nunu can kill or outpoke. until you hit midgame, janna is probably the worst support. timing shields is the best you can do to survive in lane.

Some of the values seem a little screwy. Judging by how they calculate it, everything should right itself in a few weeks, though.

I don't really like GA anymore when I play AD. I like that he brings up Frozen Mallet as I think that's actually a super viable option especially on longer range ADs like Trist or Caitlyn. Frankly I'm pretty sure you could make an argument that Frozen Mallet can keep you alive longer than the other defensive items not just because of the HP buffer but also because the passive allows for you to infinitely kite melees on every AD.

I feel GA is ok, but only while the active is up. Otherwise, I build Warmogs as my last item every game.
