Random thoughts after seeing Eve's performances in the EU LCS qualifier:
League of health really concerns me. What made Eve so strong in s2 is that she could 100-0 somebody with her combo in soloQ, and that she could put whole teams low enough that her teammates could clean up/burst whatever health remained on key targets. In s3 she's inherently less strong because even though stacking health is supposed not to be good against %HP damage, all of her kit isn't, meaning if you have more flat health remaining after her ult it does its job of decreasing her chances of 100-0ing you. Also with items like BC working a lot better with dps than burst, and the lack of magic equivalent, it is a lot harder for the rest of her team too to burst down the remaining health on the opposing team.
I expect Eve to get a lot weaker if the tanky picks + stacking health meta roots in, regardless of the huge nerfs she received. And this also somewhat upsets me because it would be an exemple of the s3 modifications triggering unforeseen changes and Riot "tweaking" stuff before waiting for said changes to settle in.
(It ties in with the inherent weakness of burst in s3/health-stacking meta in general, but I thought that with the nerfs being sent Eve's way and the nature of her kit/what made her OP, the way she's performing now is a good indicator. Also note that Elise does pretty well, arguably because of %health damage, but because she can spam it, so it's not burst.)

You can 1v5 intermediate bots? I did once as Cait. You just need to split push super hard, slowly chipping away at towers and then running away and taking another tower. The bots have a very strict set of rules how to deal with their base being attacked and you can play around their predictability and eventually kill all their buildings. This was a while back though. Not sure if their AI has been upgraded. AI could be improved, it feels too strict, and abusable.
Dota AI is pretty impressive, and feels much more smooth than LoL ai.

Why are you posting about botgames in the first place? Least nteresting part of league of legends.

If you lose in botgames, it is your own fault. There was a time when i just wanted to quickly get my fwotd, so i played against bots. The only game i lost was when i was stupid enough to pick support. The rest of the games i just picked something like Diana jungle, farmed enough money and maybe one or two kills to get my Soulstealer, and then just ran from lane to lane killing the bots which are there. Take some small breaks to get buffs, and that's it. Bots are underlevelled, you are are rich and have a full soulstealer, the rest of your team is doing ok against underelevelled bots. If you are lucky your teammates die from time to time and reset the bots bounty.

I think ARAM frustrates me way more than normal games because of how imbalanced the team can be

But at least for me, this is balanced by the fact that the average player in arams is just horribly bad. Sure, you lose some, but if you are maybe a gold player or so, you will win most arams by yourself. Especially if you play something with skillshots or CC, because the usual aram player gets hit by every single skillshot (like, maxrange tf cards, stuff like that), and is absolutely baffled by the fact that running close to an alistar WILL get him killed even after it happened for the fourth time.

I'm 100% serious btw.

I'd say its not so much the health changes that necessarily made Eve weaker, but the changes in playstyle. At the end of Season 2, we saw a very split-push heavy, spread out way of playing the game, as exemplified by TPA's 3 lane pressure style, but also picked up on by many other teams. Eve thrives in this kind of environment because she applies strong solo gank pressure. She limits the strength of split-pushing, she counter-ganks for your solo-farming carries easily, etc.
S3 patch we see people just playing 5-man much earlier. We see this in the resurgence of AoE teamfight comps. Teams are grouping up very early, and gameplay is heavily teamfight-focused, which makes life more difficult for a gank-focused champ like Eve.

Just saw 5 solari on TOOs stream, made their team impossible to kill. Solari > warmogs

Eh it was 4 solari I don't think Ezreal got a solari. I'm not sure how useful it actually was though because of the solari shield debuff similar to the Heal summoner debuff.

The debuff only lasts 8 second. 2 are always useful; 3 are often, but not always useful, depending on how long you expect teamfights to typically draw out. 4 is unlikely to be necessary, but sometimes still situationally useful in light of certain extended/delayed effects.

Did they have leona with the proper skin in their team, as well? otherwise meh! x)
just tuned in to see Dyrus losing early game vs nidalee as Riven and already feeding 2 kills 1v1 @ lvl 6.
Has anyone tried urgot+Thresh? Should be fun to be able to insta reposition yourself after using ult.

I did a game with Thresh and it was really hard to click on the lantern when there's minions or wards around it.
Can you alt click it or something to target the lantern?

which part? if you're talking about Thresh+Urgot I thought it might be nice to flash ult the enemy target, let your team blow him up and with the lantern you avoid being blown up by the enemy team, at least provide some explanation instead of useless one liner l0l.

I'm pretty sure that's a deliberate attempt by Riot to weaken the lantern and add counterplay. If you're against a Thresh, standing on top of the lantern is a good way to keep the enemy champion from escaping.
That said, maybe there is something else that helps target it, idk.

I just played with a bot land Thresh as jungle Olaf, sneak into brush while he casually drops the lantern behind him and gets "caught" by leona stun then boom, ragnarok'd olaf in their face lolol

I meant the Urgot+Thresh part, because it's fairly insane. Thresh doesn't even has to throw the lantern first due to the channel time on the ult. It would be interesting to know though if you can just spam the lantern while channeling the ult or if that will interrupt the channel.

Yeah, I picked Soraka once in a bot game and built like a support. It remains the only loss I've ever had in bot games. Now if I get duped into playing against bots with some of my less-than-good friends I just play any champion I want and build pure offense and proceed to face roll. Even if the rest of your team does nothing you can just split push and win against the bots. I don't think I've played a bot game where I didn't take an inhibitor by the 20 minute mark.
