One of my RL friends is like that. He would usually just troll if he was last pick and had to play support, because he used to not own any supports beside Blitzcrank and Alistar (but they were often banned). Later on I gifted him the Arcande Sona skin while I was at PAX and he actually started to volunteer playing support.
I hugely dislike players who wants to play ADC but refuse to play support though. They are 99.99% bad. How do people find Janna and Soraka not fun? You're rarely in danger and get to make big plays that save people and get praise. 80% win rate on Raka pro. That's what I thought too. But some people just don't like it. He would troll me if he had to pick support, and we've known each other for how long? Almost 10 years? And it's not that he has very few champions. He has like 60+ champions. But he spends all of his IP buying top laners. The problem with supports is that their contributions are rarely conspicuous to the layperson, and are largely dependent upon the people they support. To play support is to willingly tie your performance to complete strangers, and to give them all the glory. It should not surprise anyone that few players are humble enough to enthusiastically embrace that role.
What? I basically main support now, and i don't do that. I kick peoples faces in in lane, and then i kick them more. My ADC knows that i carry that lane, if he does not notice, he is a fool. Of course i say gj after we just got a doublekill, but we both know that that is purely courtesy. He and i both know that i just killed those fools, and he was just lucky enough to be the ADC on my team, and not the enemy one.
And then i go ward the shit for mid, and get him a kill on something that foolishly runs around there while i pass by, so that he, too knows that i am the support in this house. At this point, the only one who maybe has not noticed that i deserve all the glory is the toplaner, and that is just because he is stupid anyways, and live so far away that noone ever talks to him.
Sure, they all got kills, but deep down they know that it is I who produced those kills, so they still feel so empty inside with their shiny KDs, knowing that none of that is something they themselves earned, they just got it given by me.

Also, does anyone maybe have tips for supporting an Ashe? With all the other ADCs I have a few setups that work, but with Ashe I just feel like I can't do anything Go Sona. Camp a brush. When the other ad shows up, volley/power chord/sona q/ashe crit = first blood. Can be hilarious. In other news, Kassadin with his W up 1-shots Zyra's plants with autoattacks.
Mordekaiser can do it too with his Q. You also gain full shield/spellvamp because her plant has 0 MR. After getting fucked by mid Zyra for so long I at least know this much. Plant bitch OP.

Hell, a good sona literally 2v1's the lane. Season 2 I had 43W 27L on Soraka. I bought leona near the end of season 2 and in season 3 I'm currently sitting at 10W 1L on Leona. and much the same ratios as season 2 on raka. Being soraka's pretty boring in comparison, You just sit at the edge of the fight, just in range to pop your heal/silence on priority targets and then mash R/Q for the eternity it takes for W to come back up. In a losing game, a clutch heal won't save you from losing. A clutch pull from blitz or 3+ person leona ultimate will.
lol when soraka was like the best support and nhat was super high ranked with her he would heal his AD, then literally alt tab and answer questions from his IRC for a while until it came back up. most entertaining support

Re: Teleport no longer working with Homeguard.
Anybody who thinks Homeguard isn't still by far the best boots enchantment in the game is completely nuts.

Captain on diving champs fervor on adcs. Distortion is also highly underrated for flash teleport tops.

Dunno, Nunu's range makes me play with positioning and bush control to get opportunities for iceballs.

Lol, people always trash on Kassadin as like pubstomp noob champ, but watching streams the yesterday and today I have seen like 6 kassadins, and they all went like 10-0 and destroyed the game at 2200+elo. The fucker isn't easy to deal with at any level.

I don't know if I am allowed to post here with so few posts, but I couldn't find anything on that, so I'll just go ahead (I've been lurking here for 1 year and 8 months if that counts for anything) Well, recently I have started playing ranked after about 600 normal games. Now normally the normal games I play in are quite friendly, everyone knows their stuff etc. Most of my allies have gold or silver borders, so that is an indication of my range.
Anyways, to the point: The ranked games I played were full of flamers and retards and all that stuff. Not just normal retards, but people I believe have leveled to 30 with purely bot games. Also people seem to respect calls from 5th picks and all that stuff. Once I was 2nd pick and I said I wanted to go mid, but the 5th pick already said mid and then the whole team started flaming me really hard. Does it stay like this? Also nobody has apparently any clue of how to build their champs, like a Warmogs first Teemo.
TL;DR: Is everybody in placement matches for ranked, and beyond that, really so unfriendly and dumb as everyone says? Thank you for reading this! It stops being that terrible at about 1500 or so in my experience. Your placement matches (the first 10 or so you play) will be a nightmare, but if you're good you can carry most of them and end up at a decent ELO Also, you can get out of the last pick calling shit with the statement "last picks have no rights". I balance it out with never calling shit, and playing support if I have to. Then again I automatically associate MIDPLZ and NOTSUPPORT with sub 12-yearolds. I say "mid plz". A lot of pro mid laners (mild-mannered ones, I should add) say "mid plz" when they play on an unfamiliar server while on stream. I think it's perfectly acceptable. When I say "mid plz" I am just asking politely for my preferred role. There is nothing wrong with that imo. I also think it's perfectly fine. It's not like if someone else is higher pick order and takes mid that you are going to flame them. Merely asking if the other 4 players will let you mid. If they don't oh well that sucks but no harm comes from asking. I think "calling" is only an issue if people make it one by being douchebags to each other. I'm more likely to give up a position to somebody who asks instead of calling. Manners op.

im not at a computer so i cant test right now, but whats the interaction between percent armor reduction and flat armor bonuses? like if i had 100 armor and you wukong q'd me and then soraka healed me after does the bonus armor get reduced?

Kassadin is completely and utterly terrifying now that he can start 10 pots and get away with it and pretty much get to 6 for free.
Flask and boots change make his 1-6 way better so that he gets to 6 in much better space, so that his main weakness is pretty much gone.

A friend of mine didn't believe me when I told him I could beat Pantheon mid with Kassadin by using a full Armor rune page. He started Long Sword + Pots, I started Flask + Cloth Armor (Shenanigans!). I ended up tower diving him for first blood.
Not an optimal setup for Kassadin, and not a sure win, but he's definitely a much stronger mid in Season 3.

i'd like soraka more if there were more channeling spells.
hitting a clutch silence in dota feels a lot more awesome because of that. or maybe because the silence lasts longer?
she is kinda fun when you have someone like sivir or jayce. oh man, you just feed mana and laugh at the other lane all day.

Wow. I couldn't recognize Hayley's voice. Personally I think they could have written a more kick ass song but they kept it PG which is fine.
edit: don't trust youtube. It's not paramour. I can still recognize singers.

Always trust the wiki:
Vi's login theme was sung by Nicki Taylor , lead singer of the band "Running the Risk" (Well, at least trust it for this kind of stuff.) (The singer also posted the lyrics on Reddit if you need.)

But wards are also more plentiful. Surviving until 6 is one thing, but I think his burst is way too small and all he can do is to try to snowball the other lanes.
