pretty sure teemo and Kogmaw are the best hurricane users because their skills aren't actually affected by the 50% attack dmg on the 2 secondary targets since it's magic damage. So good.

The impression I'm getting is that the first clear is tough, but after that it's basically the same as the old jungle. I still feel like ganks are coming out just as frequently and at the same timings as they were before. I thought the concept of the new jungle was to let some junglers NOT gank and just farm the jungle till late game, but I don't see that happening.

Also i've noticed that alacrity upgrade doesn't give 15 movespeed, it seems to give 9-12 instead.

Raw move speed past 415 only counts 80% and raw movespeed past 495 only counts 50% http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Movement_speed

Had to go mid on my second attempt so I picked Swain. The whole "boots" thing is kinda annoying with him because sapphire+2 is pretty awkward (esp. with his passive), ruby alone is out of the question and I don't want to get drings either. Maybe I should just buy flask+one or two ward so I can play aggressive early on. Xin spent a lot of time around mid, so even if he couldn't gank me everytime it was impossible to go aggro on Karthus (he never looked low on health either, looks like his passive could be enough sustain, but I can't check his runes). 9-0-21 masteries did feel kinda good, esp. with the summoner's spells cdr (if we traded them in a fight, I knew I'd have them available ~15-20 seconds before Karthus if I wanted to aggro him), with the big drawback that to get that setup without giving up on cdr, I couldn't take ignite mastery (no big deal), but no butcher either. Ugh, that feeling when you have to cs as Swain without that help. And those siege minions you miss by a sliver of health. Maybe I should just look at AD runes since MPen was nerfed anyway.Couldn't try the new items as between the harder cs-ing (and pressure from Xin), slowed fps (when you're used to 60, dropping to 30-35 is actually huge Oo) and comp overheating I couldn't buy much after RoA+boots2. Despite a good MS (21 in utility + MS quints meant I showed up with +25 MS without boots anyway) when Xin would charge me my Q slow wouldn't be enough to escape him before he got his 3rd Q up. That was always a problem for some champs because of TTS range (I remember with Morgana, binding him as soon as he charges in and it's still get to hit thrice before I could walk out of range), but yeah, having boots or not seems like a bigger deal than what most people said—well, junglers may be able to get away with no boots but buying them early gonna still be true for the solo laners unless they got good escapes.

If anything, it may be easier for some champs with some of the new items and progressions. The spirit stone in particular makes sustainable, safe jungling easy. I still see and do a lot of ganks, including level 2 ganks.

Didn't feel different at all, except you can't clear monsters with like 0 health (died to wolves LOL).

Also, boots+3 might be nerfed but I wouldn't count it out as a valid opener.

For swain i'd probably think faerie charm + flask would be best.

Seems to me as if there's too many wards out on the map and there's so much vision from both teams with no one willing to buy a 5 minute oracles to clear them out unless perhaps Dragon/Baron's being contested. Any thoughts on how to remedy this situation? 2-3 wards on map limit would solve it. as well as opening up the map. increasing xp rewards for kills would allow junglers to consider flashing over a wall pre-gank to avoid wards. alternately, play eve jungle shen support tf mid rengar top twitch adc.

Maybe I should just look at AD runes since MPen was nerfed anyway.
