Pre-patch Brutalizer gives 20 pen, marks gave 15 (1.66*9) more, dropping them to 65. After the 10% mastery, they have ~59 effective armor. Post-patch, the percentage is applied first, dropping them to 85. Then you apply the nerfed brutalizer (15) and flat marks (12), dropping the effective armor to 58. Not a huge difference, but when you factor in stuff like brutalizer actually building into decent items and tanks generally having more than 100 armor, it's a pretty significant buff. Percentage from masteries is only 8 now, so shouldn't the post-patch calculation be 100*0.92 = 92 (%arpen from masteries) 92-15-12 = 65 (bruta+marks)

I must be misreading your post because your second example seems to take 15% of their armor off instead of 8.

I think I was thinking of bruta change and 15 got stuck in my head? I guess you'd need like 150 armor to break even

Some guy was raging and asking for reports for feeding on a guy that died, then kept whining because he had a bugsplat... wow, dude, that's only the PBE. x) But the interesting thing is that wards have icons on the minimap now. Vision wards and Sight wards have different icons too, so you know what's where (compared to Caitlyn's/Nidalee's traps, for example). So Syndra destroys harder than, say, Cass with a Muramana. Wow, that must be some hilarious burst. Way too hard for Syndra to get those 2k gold then spend at least 10 minutes to build up the Tear charges. I rather just get a Void Staff.

Edit: Probably I wonder why valve would shoot themselves in the foot by advertising the biggest competitor for dota 2. I am really excited for Vi she looks like an insta-buy for me.

They probably figure they'd make more from LoL being on Steam than they'd lose losing players to LoL.

Haha that was ages ago, that whole decision was a big factor in me actually joining this forum and participating. As they've said multiple time, this doesn't mean LoL can't be covered officially in the future, there's just not enough people on the staff interested in LoL at the moment.

I believe he is talking about the recently announced team, not covering the game.
