feels strong the moment you hit 6 and around 9ish you can go where you please but she feels really stuffed pre 6 like, if a lane is losing real hard vs something like a kassadin you cant do anything to help and when you hit 6 its too late really think shes viable/strong or not?

Sorry for continuing the derailment, but I've got too many gay friends without equal rights, you damn well bet I'm going to get as many people as I can to vote. On-topic: Turns out the key to getting gold is making Soniv and Wasabi stop trolling and carry your team for few games. You might have to bear the Cone of Shame for a game or two, but it gets results, dammit!

I didn't buy him yet because of how boring I find him but i might just get into playing him because of how strong and easy he is. remember how awful gp was after his remake+buffs? that is exactly olaf. deals tons of damage, almost immune to CC, outtrades almost everyone solid poke and utility. just that olaf doesnt even need dps items and he has sustain on top of it. boo!!! his kit doesn't allow him to be weaker though but he is just so hard to deal with because you have to like 5on1 him or he will get one of your carries and clean you up like no tomorrow. and just from the fact that ppl tend to clump around him to protect their carries you get AoE'd hardcore by everything. not that you could kite olaf during that because his ult is long enough for you to die allways. his CC is not THAT great so he is not the best turret diver ever, but in the other hand he pushes like a madman and has to be stopped by 2+ppl so your team is allways on the toe with counterpushing. really really annoying. In the other hand I play singed alot and it must feel similar for my opponents when iam ahead. But hell I can't pull that olaf shit off when iam behind or so-so in farm + there are quite some lanes I don't want to face as singed. olaf just seems to be immune to being behind. alot of bruisers have their typical weaknesses as well. Irelia, jax need serious amounts of farm so they can buy some damage items. olaf just makes tank items. singed and garen can get kited/poked hard in lane and teamfights if there is some amount of coordination/cc. olaf just walks right in and smashes faces. shen can get outtraded and pushed heavily if he gets in a disadvantage. olaf gets the most ridiculous trading synergy ever. if there is anything this guy is weak against then pls teach me! not that i have never seen olafs lose games or anything. its just frustrating for me to face him. From my 1200 ELO experience and maining Olaf for quite a while, Olaf is indeed very, very strong even without items. I twice played support olaf due to someone else trollpicking and me being the only one with a kit that could even work as sustain and i completely stomped opponents without farm and just 2 gp10 items. However, his strength in lategame is his diving potential, going in and punching the enemy carrys until they cry... for that he needs money or his dive gets shut down in 2 seconds due to lack of armor/health even with ragnarog active. He always has to be strong enough to 1v1 the enemy carry or he ends up being useless. He has several bad matchups (e.g. Irelia) but since the koreans started going double gp10 on him even in lane, those don't really hurt his lategame as much as before. You can just go shurelya&randuin on him and have enough speed and resistances to dive. That is also a reason why some progamers are playing him in the jungle where you are starved for farm. However, i would say that he is one of the champions with quite a high skill ceiling eventhough his kit seems straightforward. His sustain is ok-ish. His overall DPS is good but not great, it's mostly burst through E&Q. His CC is suprisingly hard to hit at times and easy to dodge. A good Olaf player is quite scary though. As far as countering him goes, i had good success going the Wickd route as Irelia with a chainmail after first back and then just sticking to him and not letting off. Many opponents i faced as Olaf made the mistake of short trades where i could just E and back away and win the trade. You have to stick on him and force longer trades. Just my 1200 ELO cents though.

Then it was like... why did I ever struggle with this. Then the sheep pick Olaf to try to counter me and get their faces mashed in, hehe...

Diana is an underappreciated laner and jungler, even post-nerf. However, she's not the easiest jungler to play. Her clear is simple, but successfully ganking pre-6 can be difficult unless your opponents overextend or fail to ward. She's really best when you have a team that can easily follow up on or take advantage of your E, which means AoE/chain-cc compositions.

I usually went the normal boots+3 into phage route before and lost every fight since he out-damaged me. Wickd went boots+3 into chainmail into wardens mail+ninja tabi and just straight up won every fight after his first back since apart from his E, olaf suddenly didn't do any damage anymore and the true damage from W compensates for the lack of damage items early. I switched to his item build in several matchups that i had problems with and suddenly i won each of them easily.

Olaf is extremely susceptible to slows as he has no gap closers, unless he burns his ult.If you manage to flee anyway (dodge his Q, use a shurelya of your own, etc. then he's toasted, as he lost his defensive steroid and best offensive tool. He requires some way to initiate from his team so that he can force you to deal with him (GP, Ashe, Leona ult, something like that). He also tends to fall off lategame because his sustained damage when built like that (CDR/HP Olaf) is subpar to bruisers like Irelia, Jax or Shen (damaging Shen I mean, not full tank) and against a complete AD build (IE/PD/LW) he won't last long anyway. His burst his also at its highest during levels 9-13, after that it only becomes weaker as you gain HP and armor from levels and both his Q and E are maxed. Irelia can win lane against Olaf, as can Jax. He has the advantage over them but they're stronger than him and better duelists in the midgame. They can also outtrade his E (the key is going balls out as soon as Olaf exposes himself to use it, then back off before it comes off cd) if you play it well. Those are hard match-ups pre-6 though, and lategame Olaf will beat Irelia because his E does better sustained damage and he can afford to stack HP and use items like randuin's and FH that won't affect him as much as Irelia, or that she won't build (Hiten doesn't fall off as hard but in long fights its 14s cd makes itself felt when compared to Olaf W and E). I don't think he likes Darius, he hates Jayce, he probably doesn't like Rengar or Udyr either and Teemo, Vlad and Kennen can all snowball out of control for him if he fucks up or gives a kill in lane. Switching topics, Trundle makes me so, so sad in s2 jungle. If you build utility, it takes awhile to stack cdr till you're near 40% and then you do close to no damage because you only have your W (part of which you use to catch up), 40 AD from Q after the first hit and maybe phage or something to do damage, so you're more of a disruptive and hard-to-kill supporting asset. If you build damage you die rather easily. If you build tanky you can take that role really well but apart from the midgame where your -20 AD debuff is annoying, your main things are your ult to melt a tank and your pillar to force fights/disengage so people aren't prone to focus you anyway. And he's so sloooooooooooow if you don't build wriggles on him. ![]() Trundle's fun and all but it's so hard to make him work, he can't even snowball (whole team did it in the normal games we played, but I). :'( I really hope s3 has good stuff for him in the jungle.
