Then go vote for a third party to show that you disagree with the two current parties. While you may not agree with the 3rd party you will at least show that other parties should get more influence in the democratic process.

olaf is so freaking strong with just utility/tank items. he can do ridiculous dives and still deal tons of damage because his skillset just works so efficiently. I didn't buy him yet because of how boring I find him but i might just get into playing him because of how strong and easy he is.
remember how awful gp was after his remake+buffs? that is exactly olaf. deals tons of damage, almost immune to CC, outtrades almost everyone solid poke and utility. just that olaf doesnt even need dps items and he has sustain on top of it. boo!!!
his kit doesn't allow him to be weaker though but he is just so hard to deal with because you have to like 5on1 him or he will get one of your carries and clean you up like no tomorrow. and just from the fact that ppl tend to clump around him to protect their carries you get AoE'd hardcore by everything. not that you could kite olaf during that because his ult is long enough for you to die allways.
his CC is not THAT great so he is not the best turret diver ever, but in the other hand he pushes like a madman and has to be stopped by 2+ppl so your team is allways on the toe with counterpushing. really really annoying.
In the other hand I play singed alot and it must feel similar for my opponents when iam ahead. But hell I can't pull that olaf shit off when iam behind or so-so in farm + there are quite some lanes I don't want to face as singed. olaf just seems to be immune to being behind. alot of bruisers have their typical weaknesses as well. Irelia, jax need serious amounts of farm so they can buy some damage items. olaf just makes tank items. singed and garen can get kited/poked hard in lane and teamfights if there is some amount of coordination/cc. olaf just walks right in and smashes faces. shen can get outtraded and pushed heavily if he gets in a disadvantage. olaf gets the most ridiculous trading synergy ever.
if there is anything this guy is weak against then pls teach me! not that i have never seen olafs lose games or anything. its just frustrating for me to face him.

"I don't really know a lot about that stuff, so there's no reason for me to vote" What's wrong about that? If he has no idea what he's voting for than better to not vote at all. Really? What's wrong with it? I hear people say this kind of shit so much that it's depressing. How about the fact that it's your responsibility as a citizen in a democratic nation to take part in the democratic process? I of course agree with the statement "I'm uninformed about what's going on in my own country so I won't vote." However, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to LEARN what is going on. Take some time out of your day to learn about what's going on around you and relish in the fact that our democratic process has played a major role in shaping what the U.S. is today. Don't take what you have for granted.
This. It aggrevates me that people don't vote, when many countries don't even have the right to vote. And their argument is they have no idea what's going on or "i'm voting between 2 bowls of shit, so why vote." -_- I don't know any politician who doesn't have someone think they suck so wtf kind of excuse is that not to vote lol. Heck, most medias are just selective in what they report. A lot of politicians aren't actually as bad as the opposin side tries to paint them. That goes for both reps and dems, as well as idependants.

it's a structural thing, dude. we use first-past-post voting, ----> two parties.

If you don't see the problem behind telling people, that are completely oblivious as to what they are voting for,to absolutely go and vote than I don't know what to tell you. Btw I went out to vote every single time in my country since I turned 18 and I knew what I was voting for.

I have voted third party every election since I was eligible.
This year I didn't vote. Don't plan on going to vote tomorrow. I'm sick so I don't really want to wait in two hours just to send a message that no one cares about...again. I'll probably vote next year for city council. And the following year for senate seats/house seats. And the next presidential election. But god voting third party is the most frustrating thing ever.
It's like playing League with four afkers on your team and the enemy team starts at level 11 with full item build.

there is a " Go Vote" and UsA 2012 Election with 1200 pages if you wanna discuss that guys

I read the official League of Legends Forums on a regular basis to help people with tech issues and often face similar verbal abuse that Rioters who work Player Support do except I don't get paid to do this stuff. In the grand scheme of things, what I do is a drop in the ocean and not going to make that big of a difference. But I do it anyways.
I not sure that getting off your chair to cast a vote once every four years is worse than reading the official LoL Forums. It may be insignificant to you, but the American population who does get off their chair to vote will influence what happens in the world for the next four years.
It's about your economy. It's about your country. It's about what America is going to do on the geo-political stage. Your country is powerful enough that whoever is in office for the next four years is going to have a significant impact on where many other countries in the world will be.
I generally avoid politics and this sort of stuff on the internet because it's just an invitation to get into a messy arguement. But seriously guys. Vote. Even if you don't like either candidate. We can ill afford to have the wrong person in charge of one of the most important countries in the world.

I just played a game as purple, and every person on blue was higher elo when paired up (I was lower than their last pick, and our first pick lower than their first pick). This didn't matter in my lane and bot won, but mid and jungle got dominated by high 1400s duo vs our all 1300 team.
Riot matchmaking ftl Generally yes.

Not that experienced with top lane to hard to tell you about laning strategies. But Olaf has no CC so can't peel for his own Carry. If you can bait his Ult, he also becomes much more kitable. Even with his Ult, he need items to not die since if he runs straight at you he's going to get focused immediately. No gap closer means you can also try to use terrain to you advantage (like your AD Carry firing over a ledge into the fight or something). Obv if your AD Carry has no escapes you might have a problem...

Yup yup, sorry for the rant post. I've just heard a lot of people recently talk about how they aren't voting because they don't pay attention and I got frustrated.

French people thought that a lot in 2002, "Hell I don't like them, I'll just vote for the extreme-right xenophobic-autarcic candidate, as a protest. One vote won't amount to much in the grand scheme anyway". Then they woke up and saw that who they voted for had taken second place, and was thus eligible if he ended up first in the 2nd turn. Lotsa people had a hangover that day.

"Bump"?
Is this 1999? Did all the Delorean Halloween costumes end up having a real effect?
Give me the winners for the upcoming horse races before you go!

And all is well except the entire crux of the argument lies within the fact that your average non-voter does not know who the "wrong" person is.

Agreed. I'd like it if you could leave voting or notvoting in the respective threads. If i come to this thread i want LoL, not a bunch of americans talking about their election system.
