Experience alone doesn't teach you anything unless you specifically know what you're trying to do and use opportunities to test what you are thinking in theory. Probably true. That plus listening to my own advice, so many times I've thought (or even said on Vent) "Too scary, way far forward, I'm going to get ganked, need to back off", and then 5 seconds later I don't back off, get ganked, and die. Bleh. One of the worst feelings in LoL when you think "I am way overextended, have to back off" and greedy for cs you stay little longer and die to a gank. That "Just one more wave" kills more people than doublelift does in ARAMs... Dont get me started. Or the 'i can teleport in this brush, theres no need to teleport 5 feet further at the safety of my tower' This is the most incurable disease of LoL. I suffer of it sometimes.
EDIT : I forgot the most important one... It's the magnetic skillshot. You see it. You won't get hit by it. You run to it. I can't be the only one who had that once or twice xD

(Especially on Mids and ADs) Requires experience. Lots of experience. You have to know how the matchups scale. If you lose trades early, that doesn't mean a few levels later you can't completely destroy your opponent. Try it, if it fails, don't try it again next time you are in that matchup-
stxz mentioned this in Spellsy's thread, but you should play to improve, not play to win. I've gotten a lot better in the last week just by going balls out aggressive just in all matchup. When it doesn't work out, then you have a good place to go back and look and see if it was because it was the wrong choice or if it was executed poorly. I lost my first 6 games doing top lane like this but then I started winning by huge margins since I wasn't just playing to eek out small victories and basically wait for my teammates to carry me.

Udyr, Morgana and Janna's shields, Vlad's pool... IG has no qualms about Karthus' ult this game. The pub carried him.
I think what you meant to say was the epic Fiddle support who thrashed his lane, got Vayne fed, and then bravely ulted every tower carried him.

Nidalee's spear gets me far more than it should through this.

Was a normal with gandhi, crouton, monte, and a random, so that certainly helped. Was going W>E>Q, and I actually felt decently strong. I'm starting to get a hang of E stun. Is there anything she does better than popular APs? I feel like she's a fun champion, but she just isn't GREAT at anything. She deals quite a lot, can really disrupt team fights better than most champions, almost on par with Orianna - one could argue better than Orianna because Orianna's ult has a long CD while Syndra's disrupt is a 10 s cooldown. But her main problem is that you can't do shit against someone that is running at you ! You can't stun someone that is running toward you because the ball will be on him or behind him. Bruisers or any gap closer just trash her (unlike Anivia who can wall / stun / slow easily).

Climbing hard when you win 11 and lose 14 everytime. But I feel like my jungle's actually improved a lot since my last ranked games, so all's good in the end. MUNDOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Mundos really should get QSS more often.

It's 'k, not many people ignite you when as soon as a giant gargoyle plays the Teemo with them, some Koggles pew pews at them from afar. They got bigger priorities.

Hmm I just did 4 warmogs cdr boots atmas olaf build. Was fun tanking nexus turrets with 400hp5

But it's k, since I can just play him myself, which solves all related problems. And also curbstomps unsuspecting sidelanes.

Ups. Now Mundo's on the enemy team and mine's all going retard mode, refusing to buy wards when he camps them, pushing against Rumble, engaging against Leona-Ezreal as Corki-Soraka... Maybe it's a Mundo thing rather than me, then? :<

There's no skill shot more magnetic than Morgana binding, I can't explain it. I can dodge like 99% of lux q's, but all of a sudden, morgana binding appears, SMACK, right in the face.

Seems like a cool idea, although I would be concerned about the amount of time it would take to do a tournament like that.
|
Yeah the time needed to run a tournament is monsterous for LoL. esp considering the size it would have. 128 teams only takes 7 hours if there all Bo1's.
Nice idea but not practical.

Anyone else noticing that mobility boots are getting more common on junglers in general?
I mean, a few months ago only Alistar was jungled with mobility boots. Now people run them on Maokai, Skarner, I've even seen a Mundo and an Olaf jungle with mobility boots.
|
It's really only those three plus Naut. You can troll around with them on Cho, Nunu, etc. but they're almost always sub-optimal.

I would like Mobility Boots so much more if they only broke on Player/Tower/Baron/Dragon damage. Disabling on creeps is so irritating. Same goes for MF's passive.
