I mean, Skarner is strong, but Skarner doesn't have any range skills and his ultimate pulls people into your team's range, which is way better if you have melee range damage skills/champions. You don't need to pull people into your team with Cait's range, Anivia wall, Jayce ranged mode, etc. Skarner + Jayce is stupidly strong, but if you pick Cait as AD, I can't see Skarner working that well. Just now when IM is sieging, they just lay down Karth wall and Skarner can't do shit. Karthus+Ez poking TPA down without TPA being able to get a pull in. I mean, Anivia can start a fight with Q/Wall, but the actual engage needs to come out of Skarner ult. | ||

Blight stacks + Varus Q is nice damage, but for a poke comp Cait is still better imo. It is a matter of opinion of course. As far as poke comp junglers go, Trundle used to be CLG's favourite for poke comps way back, haven't seen much of him lately. Now it's mostly Mao/Mundo. | ||
