You're also forgetting the biggest thing about it, is you can attack while ulting, so with skarner its' essentially a 5v4 during the duration of skarner's ulti. While Malz just turns it to a 4v4 during the duration of his ulti.

Skarner doesn't suppress himself during ult, while malzahar can be stunned/silenced out of it and can easily accidently cancel his own ult.

Probably a dumb question but when is it best to run APen runes over flat AD runes? You only get those on top bruisers/Urgot right?

That makes perfect sense, his other benefits outweigh the possibility of people QSSing out of the ult.

I've always advocated that it should be used more as a clean up tool, as you're less likely to get killed/interrupted while ulting if the fight is already over. It's pretty good at grabbing/killing fleeing enemies, using it in the middle of a fight is a big "look at me!" indicator.

Oh, realized you were talking about the rest of his kit rather than his ult. Yeah, it's really nice for decent counter-initiation (pool is great zoning, wall is great on clumps), but there are others who do it much much better imo.

Same here, I saw several dc while spectating and I crashed right at the same time (despite the delay, I shoulda crash 3 minutes prior if it was the server and not that game itself). Queue just went from "more than 20k, 9 minutes" to "first, 40 minutes". Windows minutes yo.
