split push is the answer. just tell your team not to engage or get caught. if you have a decent waveclear then you can hold 4v5 at tower easily. This is a fair point, and is one of Trist's distinct advantages over other 4+1 carries--she can push lanes deeper than Kog'maw because she has an escape, and pushes much faster than Vayne because she has AoE creep clear.

Naturally, given that its much better now, it's an obvious buy for her.

People forget that baron applies a stacking abyssal debuff :S I've had a lot of game where my teammates insist on doing 5v4 baron even though enemy team is like kennen/malphite/sona with their ults up.

Can i just mention how happy i am that Blitz free week is over?
Playing on my low level account was so annoying with so many bad blitzes on my side.

The Thirtieth Law of League Of Legends: A Blitzcrank on your team shall hit 0 hooks. Any enemy Blitzcrank has GODHAND.

I'm starting to hate RoA on all of my casters. It just seems like a crutch item. The only good part is the sustain and boost to mana, but if you just play better, you shouldn't really need those things. Nowadays it seems just so much better to get a pick and then rush dcap, hourglass, or dfg.

I dunno I played in a MF/Blitz lane and blitz just dominated everyone. Like I did nothing as MF

Playing Corki I've been going Tri>LW>GA then I'm not sure if BT or IE is best. Advice? I would think IE is good because crit stacking but after GA respawn, lifesteal is super important

I prefer triforce into IE or BT, depending of the situation. Not sure if LW is good to buy, if you're against people who heavily stack armor early on then yes, but i dont see a lot of people doing this nowadays.

Can your team peel for you and frontline for you while you pewpew? IE If you have to skirmish and sometimes 1v1 their carries (even their bruisers at times). BT

I've learned that Rylai's > RoA, nearly always. Unless you plan to buy both, or are in desperate need of mana, just get the Giant's Belt instead of Catalyst, and then finish the item and enjoy your slows.
I still have a soft spot in my heart for tanky-AP-cassiopeia, though. RoA>Rylai's>abyssal/hourglass>the other one>wota>never die, hue. I realize that never getting a DCap is kinda dumb, but I still feel like my damage is fine, and I can stay in teamfights forever.

Just kind of mindlessly gave it a go after browsing Genja's profile. Really liking it so far. The AD that LW gives is pretty decent and you finish around the time where people are starting to stack armor instead of health. Doesn't give them any kind of window where I do no damage to them

MF Blitz is one of the best combos IMO. You hook and it guarantees full exposure to her E/R, which is a shit load of damage.
|
Well you have to understand this is like level 19 game and I play dota not LoL so my only LoL exposure is through streams. I don't think I've watched a pro MF so had no idea what I'm doing past mechanics. I think I went R > E > W and blitz just won the game while I was figuring out stuff. He roamed bot mid top everywhere and just dominated. Good blitz so strong at low levels ;<

Cassio kind of needs to build tanky enough to survive and then the rest can be damage. That often means skipping the hat. Never getting it might be a mistake, but usually it's not your go-to item. Cassio is ok-ish with RoA, since even with your passive you might run oom, usually mana regen is preferred on her though.
Rod of Ages is really cost efficient, but only for champions that can make use of the extra mana pool. Catalyst is really good for lane too, which means that RoA has a nice way of building it. In the end there are only a few champion on which you really want RoA. With Karthus and Swain I always get it, Anivia, Kassadin and Ryze are good RoA candidates too. I used to like it on Ori, but am preferring grail a bit more these days.

Rylais + Dorans gives you the same health as RoA doesn't it? So you should never get RoA unless you get something out of that mana.

Personally I don't think MF syncrho's well with Blitz, pre-6, and post 6, that combo isn't any more deadly then any other offensive supports post 6. (like taric or leona). blitz's pre-6 is super deadly if done correctly. But it doesn't really matter, since MF should almost always win lane phase anyways, she's got one of the strongest laning phases in the game.
Also on the topic of giving support cs, i've noticed crs's botlane does this with elementz, cop seems to give a decent amount of cs to elementz, especially if elementz is playing fiddle or blitz.
RoA has catalyst, which is fucking amazing during laning phase, I dunno why people discount catalyst?

I thought MFs maxed E after W, since the slow scales and Q mana cost scales, which makes it really expensive.

Ya, RoA is only for champs that can make use of the mana pool.
