He just feels so binary. Hit hooks -> win everything, miss hooks -> support farm trying to run in and use ER, dying instantly.
Bleh. I just suck. Just press W, run at enemy and press E. Makes it real easy to land hooks. Or just keep practicing those hooks:p.

Honestly, I hate blitz bot lane in general. He zones way to hard and I'm never quite sure how to balance farming vs not dying to a grab.

well he's your typical High risk high reward pick I'd say, compared to safer picks like Soraka/Janna. Land hooks in lane or thorugh walls> best player eu/na but never land a hook> OMG UNINSTALL NOW PLS.
Also ali/taric + graves/corki vs any blitz combo= THX for hooking me bro^^. Landing insane hook as blitz is one of the greatest feelings though.

Bleh. I just suck. i c what u did thar.
But I enjoy the hooks on Blitz, hit one and win the lane, if not just make some stupid joke to get your team off your back. THAT WAS ONLY A WARNING SHOT, or WTF BUG.
Or something dumb

Landing hooks is important, but one of the best ways to win lane as blitz is finding opportune times to simply activate W, run past creeps and try to E them. It immediately puts them into retreat most cases and moves them away from the creeps, making hooks easier to land.

I agree with most of you guys. Blitz ruins bot laning for me, because I'm just a baddie trying to learn it. Whenever the wave is not incredibly far pushed to my turret, I feel like I almost can't farm without the risk of getting hooked into his AD and jungler. The worst part about him is that he's literally hit-or-miss. Haven't had a game in a while where a BC was doing just okay - they either win games or lose it by grabbing fed AP mummies into their team, h4h4.

landing hooks is a bit overrated imo. The most potent blitz weapon you have is the FEAR of landing a hook. Sure, landing hooks is great and all, but by simply controlling the bush, combined with simply hitting overdrive and running at them is a really easy way to play blitz, even if your hooks suck ass. I have literally zoned AD carries and supports by standing in a bush, doing nothing. Plus ppl have the tendency to strafe to avoid hooks, which makes just walking up and punching them really easy.
I suppose you kinda have to hit at least one or two to instill proper fear tho.
also this is really only in terms of lane control. Post laning, blitz kinda has to hit hooks, but IMO it's a bit easier since it's not quite as predictable.

Best things to do as Blitz: 1. Someone flashes through wall to escape and thinks they're so clever. Grab 'em right back. NU-UH BUDDY, COME BACK HERE. 2. As purple, enemy jungler hides in bottom river brush to gank you. Grab through the wall, pop up and let him get killed by turret. Ty for double buff.
Whenever I miss a grab, I just type "WHY AM I SO BAD?". Most players worth anything will take it in stride (they know a skillshot is called a skillshot for a reason), and only really bad ones/ tryhards will get mad if you miss some.
Once you play Blitz enough, it kind of evens out and the Law of Clutch comes into effect. You make the clutch grabs, but you also miss a decent number of other ones. You just need to put yourself in position to make as many good grabs as possible, or rather, put yourself in position to threaten good grabs. One good grab will give all the momentum to your team and usually forces a teamfight on your terms.
If you play Cho and know how rupture works, Blitz grab is pretty much the same thing IMO.

Omg pony is so good.
You got wards? - lol ghost+E You towerhugging? - np initiate with ult then W and hammer away while getting all my health back
Tbh to me he feels like Skarner 2.0 - clears decently fast and his ganks are awesome. Also pretty strong at catching anyone even slightly out of position. Ult is strong initiation and E lets you peel off bruisers from your carry. W keeps you alive forever in teamfights especially with max CDR and you can back off when its on CD only to come back to clean up when its up again. New favorite jungler.

The only reason to play blitz is to roam around the map and then say "beep boop fuck you I'm a robot" to your team everytime you miss a grab.

I've never seen TOO lose a WC3 game yet whenever I watch his stream. He's pretty fun to watch as well when he's playing it as well. Dem geeeewls.
|
He just lost trying to cheese a random the game he played before the soloQ he's playing right now.
|
He basically rushes every game if he queue pops early so if they block the cheese he's in trouble often.
He just goes nuts on the mic when he plays wc3 so I bet it keeps the viewers entertained.
|
I must bring him good luck then when I watch. :D But yeah sometimes his stream is more entertaining when he's playing WC3.

Man, I keep missing these wc3 games D:
