I think the issue with high kill games is that more often than not, they tend to be really really snowbally. I don't enjoy watching other teams completely dismember others (unless it's TSM, huehuehue) without them having a real chance of coming back. What's the point in watching a game post 15 minutes if one team has a 10k gold lead already. I'm obviously exaggerating, but I hope I get my point across. My vote was 'I don't care', because it's not so much about the kills but clutch/cool plays I want to see. It's okay if the score is 4-6 23 minutes in if Nidalee managed to escape thrice with 30hp.

How does Ryze counter Ahri exactly? I'm not sure but it feels like Ryze barely beats ahri, is the strategy to camp till lvl 6 or is it to harass the fk out of her early, because when she lands her Q on me, its quite deadly. (I believe Ahri's Q has a longer range than Ryze Q or W) I don't play mid roles as I try to avoid it but I need some tips on when I do.

Funnily, I can't recall the last time I played against a Ryze and DIDN'T get an early gank. The reason Ryze is considered to be decent against Ahri is that she can't pull of her ''sup I hit 6 and 100-0 you if I hit everything without really being in danger to get killed myself'' bullshit against him because of W. That being said, her Q outranges your entire kit (it has 880 range according to the wiki) and if Ahri is decent, you'll eat a Q whenever you try to harass her without really coming close enough to her. I'd say you're best off farming passively and wait for ganks. One of the biggest strengths of a good Ahri is the ability to hit 6 before your opponent, double up her own creepwave and then all-in you with Ult+Ignite. If that happens, W her about 0.75 seconds after she used R for the first time, try to juke the E and then run for your life. Ryze scales better than Ahri does, at least in my opinion. Farm as much as you can and it should be a reasonable matchup.

One thing that surprised me more is a 1800 friend who was adviced to take Swain against her by a 2k friend of his. Swain's as outranged as Ryze, his W isn't instant and she'll never hit his full Q as long as she's got an ult charge remaining. People keep telling me Swain's a counter to Ahri, I keep eating Swains alive. If you hit 6 simultaneously, you're fucked because Ahri takes too long to kill people to really burst him down. Then again, in my opinion, Ahri is all about hitting 6 before your opponent, so that's that.

People complain about Morgana but when playing Swain I'd have a Morg over an Ahri any day. ![]()

Yeah. Also, I'm really interested in why she shouldn't be able to instagib Ryze.

Then, at about level 4, I 1v1'd him and beat him. ... I'm not even sure how it worked. I know Ez's w is really good, but I had no idea how that worked out. It was actually as if his axes decreased in damage with levels. Is there any explanation to this?

Draven op". Then, at about level 4, I 1v1'd him and beat him. ... I'm not even sure how it worked. I know Ez's w is really good, but I had no idea how that worked out. It was actually as if his axes decreased in damage with levels. Is there any explanation to this? His damage is very reliant on his axes actually being used as well as his W being used. His damage is good without the axes but it increases exponentially when he actually uses his Q (Spinning axes) correctly. However, either way his initial burst is not that strong, he can just sustain his "burst" for a longer period when played well by catching axes and refreshing his W constantly.

That I can agree with. I mean, yeah, I got this idea from someone in the forum, I think it was zulu, that Ahri is supposed to hit 6 before her opponent does and then just snowball the fuck out of the lane. It works really well for me, and it also works for Ryze. I usually ask for an early gank though, because most Ryzes still tend to build tear first even if they get behind.
