I don't always smurf, but when I do, I play tripple stackables Katarina. Well, I have a smurf to play with new players and usually I just screw around and build AP Caitlyn and the likes, while trying to help them out with some build advice, champs to try out and general pointers on what to do. After they leveled up to ~20 I usually use my main, although that can be frustrating due to them getting opponents far better than them. Oh well, no perfect solution to this.
I convinced an rl friend of mine several times that certain chars are op, after which he bought them, just to learn that its just me being able to play them half decently. I told him Katarina isn't that strong, but he wouldn't believe me after that tripple stackables game .

I /w pieces of advice to one of them when I spectate him, since he's really new (and worse mechanically than I'd have thought for a dedicated BlazBlue player), but then half a hour later he asks me "by the way that yellow text that popped up sometimes, was that you?". Dude, I've been whispering "complete those boots, man è_é" to you all that time, I know you're busy when there are fights but you can still press W or scroll up the chatlog. :<

How does one play against Karthus? I'm not sure if I should be pushing him to tower or not cause he has a fairly easy time last hitting under tower but I'm scared of just farming against him cause he scales so well.
Edit: Picking ryze was an awful idea as well it seems >:

I observe one of my lowbie friends a lot to try to give advice to help him and like 90% of the time games are effectively over at 20 minutes but are dragged out to 80 minutes because his team doesn't group up and knock down all the towers when they could easily do it, and they all die 1v4 and let the other team slowly crawl back into the game. Aww that's sad, how low do you define low level games? I'm specting games of my roommate's girlfriend and i enjoy like all of them, the skill level certainly is low, 30 mins into the game most people have 30, max 40 cs (everyone is lvl 30 though, i wonder what would they normal ELO be, like 500?) but man, so many funny mistakes, just as if the games were recorded by Benny Hill!

Not like the way your keyboard was manufacured has anything to do with that... You can change your keyboard layout from your operating system.

My duo partner took Darius support and we rolled our lane.
Low ELO too good, I love it. (Jk I'm depressed I can't get out).

I am pretty sure that different keyboards not only have different layouts, but also sometimes just different amounts of key. For example, i think american keyboards do not have a key between the z/y and shift, and only 2 keys right of the L(correct me if i am wrong here). No amount of changing settings in the operating system will remedy the fact that there are just not enough keys on that keyboard.

Ryze and Karthus shouldn't do too much against each other, it's a farmlane. You will try to run up to him, while he will try to zone you off of him with his Q. If you don't pressure him he will just push you to tower. I don't think Ryze scales any worse than Karthus does, so it's ok just farming it out as long as your team can disengage and not fight in 7 seconds of defile.
You will beat him in a straight up fight if you don't eat all the Qs and don't run around in defile, but he shouldn't really try to fight you. When you really want to beat him, get your jungler to gank for you and flash snare him, he should go down really fast.

to be fair, Darius does feel really weak to me right now. I think I've given up on him for the time being.

Z and Y are nowhere close to each other, although there is no key between z and shift, if that's what you meant.
