Chogath Jungle could likely go without smite. Once you hit six feast kicks the crap out of smite anyway. That being said, his ganks kinda hit and miss and he isn't the epitome of speed.

If you're not jungling fast as cho you're doing something terribly wrong.
I had a Singed beat me as Pantheon because he basically used his pots to let me deplete my manapool, then just backed, tp'd, and went very aggro on me (I didn't have enough mana left to kill him, can't remember if he had some AP too) to force me back to regen mana and buy, while missing 2-3 waves (he timed well the moment where he forced me back). After that I couldn't kill him as he managed to survive to the level where he could afk push and I didn't have enough damage to put him down. I managed to hold on my tower until the laning phase ended and we forced teamfights, but a bit longer and he'd have taken it.
In retrospective, I certainly played it badly as it was my 3rd or 4th Singed as Pantheon, but the others were bad and this one certainly knew what he was doing (he was also better than me, simply put). But it makes me think, Singed with TP and a jungler able to gank early to relieve pressure to allow him to reach level 5-6 with some farm should be just fine in lane, with a defensive enough spec?

LP EU empty (3 people) and my friend list too... is there something special today? Like some beta game or an event on D3 or something?
Edit: probably a bug. Confirmed that a friend is playing atm and I don't see him in my list, also last lobby fp disconnected and two other people didn't pick anything before the forced random. I was the only one in the champ select lobby chat.

The reason is that he mastered the champ and has a lot of experience in playing each matchup with him, while his opponents probably haven't seen a Singed in ages.
no thats not the reason
OK so you said there's a reason a guy mainly playing Singed can blindpick him and be 2300. So either the champion is blatantly overpowered because nobody can touch him or invertedcomposer is just really really good with Singed. Am I missing anything?
Yes you are. He loses his lane every time to any decent player.

I ifgured there was a catch. I mean, do you see a good Riven losing to a Singed? I usually rape Singeds for breakfast, but I never really play any good ones.

Or frequently checking Facebook or IRC when they're hiding in the bushes at enemy blue at the start of the game?
It just seems so unprofessional.
"Professional" and "Solo Queue" don't go together.

I used to run Ryze top during Singed free weeks and zone them fairly harshly. Rune Prison OP.

My ping doesn't change but I'm getting massive spikes :/ .
Happens sometimes. Everybody in the game seem to have it, during ~1s my champ freeze, then does several things at once (tho he really doesn't do anything during the freeze, like I right-click a minion to last hit, the minion will die under my nose but I'll still move to its location after).

Teemo > Singed
Although, with Singed it's all about getting past the first few early levels. Gold can come later. Once you hit I think it was 7+ (or was it 9+?) you don't exactly win lane, but no one can really stop you from farming anymore.

Doublelift said something like this too before. Tumble > Buckshot so you shouldn't get bursted randomly like Ashe, and you scale harder and have CC. With a good support you also have decent kill potential. I've never gotten it to work before though since my mechanics are so bad T_T
Also interesting VLog from HSGG about the teams swaps recently.
Corki demolishes Singed. Its like teemo but really hard to gank after level 2. Also graves isn't a very good laner. It is his midgame team fight potential that makes him sooo good.

Really stupid.
Wow. The most sustainy junglers I can think of that I've played on SR are WW, Trundle, and Fiddles (maybe turtle bear). But since Fiddles requires blue to jungle... what would be a good starting jungler on TT?
Lee Sin, Alistar, Nocturne are the strongest I think. Gangplank is pretty solid too. All those guys get trashed by buff wolves but most of the guys who can do buff wolves aren't that good, because they have crappy early ganks, so if they happen to get wraiths spawn they just sort of sit around doing nothing until stuff comes up. Early power ganks are the best.
Thanks. So don't even focus on getting all the camps. (no wraiths) just go for the over the wall ganks as LS (nocturne's ganks are as bad as some of the others I mentioned pre-6).
On the current debate, I find singed hard to lane against. Even as kayle, even if I kill the singed 2 times in lane, he comes back and gets unkillable, pushes my lane faster than a max E kayle can retaliate, TP's home, and gets back in time to push the lane. I've found Caitlyn can constantly stay out of his range, but I'm not sure if she can push the lane fast enough for it to matter. I know that the current supposed counter to Singed's midgame is to just get a frozen mallet to slow him so Ashe seems like the perfect counter. In addition, by late game, I find singed rather useless.
