Yeah, I'd always bet on Kennen in Kennen vs Riven barring a massive skill difference. Even goldfather8's guide suggests Kennen as one of the few picks he thinks is very strong against Riven. And a Kennen that is behind (due to ganks or whatever) can still farm against Riven; the converse is much harder. | ||

But if you can survive until mid-late game, you will be a beast. You can build 100% tank items and still two shot the enemy squishies, while your slow can make the enemy ad carry semi-useless and your ult makes you a big ass mofo in their faces. Basically, Nasus after 30 mins is an AoE life-stealing tank with 2-3 utility/tank items that two shots carries and makes the enemy AD carry useless, i.e. be a tank/support/carry. Nasus can probably carry an average player out of 1000 Elo with a super-high win rate since people don't know how to rape Nasus at that Elo. | ||

He has the highest potential scaling (along with Sion and Veigar I guess), the problem with Nasus is that even though they buffed (or rather fixed) his Wither a while ago, he's still getting kited six ways to sunday in a teamfight. I'd much rather have something stupid like Riven who wins most lanes to begin with, scales awesomely and has the means to actually close the gap between her and the squishies in a teamfight. | ||
