It's a ranged skill If you watch the video Xacez linked on page 3, you can see very clearly that Darius does actually move toward his target when he ults. However, the amount of movement is somewhat limited, as you only move close enough for your axe to land on the target. At anything closer than max range the effect isn't noticeable. While its true the only difference of rupturing from the brushes is the sound, a lot of ppl are really terrible and rely on the sound. Moreover, while it is quite easy to dodge rupture since the animation is painfully obvious, you have a chance of catching them offguard if they are already engaged or in a teamfight where the animation might not be clear, but basically, if i understand the changes right, the cast time is reduced buy .35 seconds and there is now a clear indicator of the rupture which imo, will make it ridiculously hard to land vs decent players. Will try it out when EU gets patched but im not happy ![]() | ||

a) ult has 1.5 dmg ratio b) ult does true damage (why?) c) ult's cooldown REFRESHES also he gets passive armor pen, and i didn't really look at passive but that shit looks OP too | ||
