I really think that item is underrated in general with the recent nerfs to the other two, and I think it is more worthwhile than a cloth 5 open. I open that on some of my jungles too. Underrated item for sure. farming isn't just about last hitting. being able to stay in lane is much more important. AD sion can't trade with the vast majority of popular champs until he gets a good amount of items. | ||

I dont understand how you could ever be pushed out of lane as him unless it's a teemo, vlad, kennen or yorick. Those are the only ones I could see actually being able to make him b. Everyone else just makes it a farmfest, because he can just stay at tower all day and farm, if anyone tries to dive he's got a stun and sheild. And about the trading bit, he can trade with a fair bit of people imo. No you don't want to be taking all that much damage but once you get wriggles it doesn't matter anyways.... | ||

You know, this may come as a total shock to you but some people can actually freeze their lane and deny you a lot of farm, and certain champs can harass you under your tower, they dont need to dive you. | ||

If you're tanky enough already and want DPS on Cho, ASpd. If you're tanky enough already and want burst on Cho, AP. If you're not tanky enough already on Cho, Frozen Heart. If you want to be awesome, Triforce. Not limited to Cho. | ||

When I played as Jax Olaf pushed a bit and hit 2 before me so he attacked, I hold it off, but my jungler wanted to gank (still not sold on Shyv level 3 ganks...), we saw theirs coming (Lee Sin) but he went in anyway, making me commit with him... only to flash out immediatly et let me get killed 1v2. He then got dived and gave another kill. Again, lost before I can get a feel for the match-up. When I look at it, I guess it's kind of awareness-based, as Olaf's E (+ aa if you turn) is more damage than Jax can do with aa+W early on, but with Jax's E+W you can outtrade Olaf if you run at him when he uses E and disengage right before his E cd comes back (obviously you can't do that too easily as levels rise and cooldowns get shorter). But maybe I'm wrong and assuming equal skill and knowledge of the match-up one side is heavily-favored? | ||
