There is imo a big difference tho between the player who picks a free champ because he can in a ranked game and the player who buys a champion and wants to learn him. I don't personally mind bad play, everyone has bad games even with champions they're good at, but I do mind stupid play. If you've at least 1) read your champion's skill descriptions carefully and 2) taken a minute to think about what runes/masteries/items make sense on them you're fine, with bonus points for taking the champion for a quick spin in a custom, coop, or normal game first. My problem is with the people who, 15 minutes into a game, finally decide to read their ability tooltips for the first time ever and discover that maybe Udyr's Bear Stance was not what they should have been maxing first. I'm talking about "is your shirt on right-side out" level competency, if you don't have it I don't want to play with you ever. | ||

Yet some people do into ranked and take it like it's normals, saying normals is too full of shit and nobody is serious and they want to have fun in ranked, play it like it's a game and not care about their performance. | ||

This is basically me and Lulu. I haven't bought Lulu because I knew she was going to get nerfed and wanted to see all the nerfs first so that I could consider the stabilized champ. | ||
