That said it's a core item on my TF, but only because of the split pushing power it gives him. I also like it on Nidalee. How should I mastery a Lichbane Nidalee. I was thinking somthing like 14-7-9, taking magic and armour pen in the red, hp/5 in blue, mana/buff times in green. Then for runes should I go armour pen reds, armour yellows, mana/5 blue, armour pen quints? Double dorans, hat, lichbanes? My record with Nid is horrible, I think it's the lack of cc from a top lane on low Elo teams, and I want to give her another shot. | ||

I'm by no means a good Nidalee player, or even a good player at all, but in general I think people like to go 21-0-9 or 21-9-0 on Nidalee. For AP I would favor the 21-0-9 where you go for both the Magic and Armor pen masteries, then continuing down the AP side of the Offensive Page. If you're playing AP Nidalee without RoA then you're going to have mana problems so the 9 in Utility for Runic Affinity (buff duration) would be pretty good. I would think that Lich Bane would be mostly for the ability to actually be useful aside from your spears as well as some splitpushing power, 1v1 strength in cat form etc. If you're going AD though I think 21-9-0 would be more useful, though you really shouldn't be getting Lich Bane on AD Nid lol. Trinity Force would be better in that situation. | ||

You'd say no to a free 1.0 AP ratio (granted, applying physical damage) every time you W somebody? Well it's true that with only 2 damage spells TF doesn't really needs burst after all. | ||

I really don't understand 14-7-9, especially if your 7 is hp5, which is not particularly cost efficient. It seems like you would be better off running 21-0-9 than that. Also, how often do you plan on actually having buffs? Having blue buff as AP Nidalee is quite nice, but you can't count on it in games where your mid and/or jungler are also buff-hungry. My usual AP Nidalee setup is 21-9-0, which gets you +30 health for early survivability. I'm sure you're aware that AP Nid has a lot more counters than AD Nid, but that comes with the territory. I agree AP Nidalee needs mana regen to be effective at early levels, but I would rather rune for it than devote subpar masteries. I setup with mp5 yellows/flat MR blues or armor yellows/mp5 blues depending on my lane opponent. The idea is that since AP Nidalee is a "splitpush all day" champ rather than a teamfighter, it's not as important to have the out of lane defensive stuff. This discussion might be better off in the Nidalee thread. | ||
