While this thread is labeled "DotA2", this is in fact a community thread first. Many of the users in the TL LoL subforum have been playing as friends for over a year now, so it makes logical sense that they would want to play other games together. Do not compare DotA2 to LoL, you will get banned. TL LoL veterans know what is expected. Newcomers be warned. gl hf

I see a lot of other teams with their supports at level 2/3 with no CS when Alliance supports are level 4 with 20 CS. Did Alliance figure out something special with maximizing global gold gain? it's a lot like freezing lane in lol, it gives the other team a lot of map pressure. I suppose maybe it just seems strong on Alliance because there solos are so dependable.

Naga makes it impossible to dive their base with high ground mechanics. Their weakness is early map presence, and I think Na'Vi really figured something out in game 2 when they got an easy first blood and all outer towers. If they didn't throw at Rosh and didn't have to face Naga, Na'Vi could have easily gotten early barracks.

As for revolutionary play, I don't think so. It's just that Akke/EGM have the best support basics out of anyone in the world. There is just no wasted movements by them. Actually really similar to how Meteos jungles. The naga is pretty vital but they don't lose that much map presence with their efficiency in the jungle. You often see EGM getting level 6 before the 8 minute mark.

You often see EGM getting level 6 before the 8 minute mark. This. Honestly it's mostly that Alliance's supports execute well and don't waste time. It's not so much that other supports can't farm, but that when they smoke gank/etc. their success rate against Alliance's solos tends to be far lower than the reverse. Even a single failed smoke gank sets the supports extremely far behind in addition to wasting the value resource of a Smoke. Akke+EGM ensure that they don't waste those haphazardly. They gank what they know they can make work, and otherwise do a very good job of not wasting their time. If there's a place where Alliance maximizes its efficiency more than other teams, it's at the Ancients.

The hardest carries in Dota 2 tend to be extremely tanky and survivable. It's partially due to how hard defensive stats scale cause of attributes. There's also the issue of magic immunity which basically makes most supports useless for the duration of the immunity.

If he get his stun off on the champ that was originally slept, Navi will have 1 stunned one and 1 slept one, which guarantee a lose. I don't know why he wanted Leshrac either beside his pushing power, Lion was much superior than Leshrac at connecting cc.
