First off, how is Kennen any less gankable than any of the other AD heroes with a blink-type skill (e.g., Ezrael, Corki, Tristana, Caitlyn)? And beyond that, his ult a) does no damage because he has no AP and b) is going to get him blown the fuck up if he runs into the whole other team. | ||

After my ult and Randuin's ended she would be at about half HP, then just life steal her way back to full with crazy attack speed like she's AD Sion. Edit: Plus she had AtMallet. | ||

You don't use his ult to do damage or cc the entire enemy team. It's more of a self-peel and it's aoe is large enough that you'll do plenty of disruption even without being in the middle of the fight. | ||

I know I am going to come across as an asshole for saying this, but I think you should revisit the definition of the word "literally." I try hard not to disagree with players better than me, but to say he is not useful seems a bit extreme. You trade the higher end game damage of a normal AD carry for one who is better able to protect himself and has far stronger base stats during the laning phase. I can definitely see why you would argue the normal AD carries are better, so I don't see why you would need to exaggerate so much to make your point. | ||

All the stuns in the teamfight mean very little when the guy supposed to do the damage isn't doing any damage. At least jungle kennen's can argue a gank potential of stuns. AD kennen is just silly. If you enjoy it, more power to you but AD kennen is pretty much a troll pick. | ||

Like with most AD's, if the ones you are seeing are doing no damage late game, it's because they lost or their builds are terrible. His Q+Passive attack + W poke means 400 free damage at level 3 if he lands it. His chase can be lackluster, but his damage output is fine. His laning is only weak because his poke doesn't penetrate or hit a wide area, only single target, and his AOE farm is dependant on having AP, so your last hitting has to be up to snuff. | ||

If you enjoy it, more power to you but AD kennen is pretty much a troll pick. your damage in this game is far more dependent on items when looking at AD champions - the only real exceptions are veigar and nasus because of their + damage skills. to say that a champion "does no real damage" is a stupid exaggeration, as petered has mentioned. of course some other champions' steroids, attack range, and laning makes building them AD superior to other options, but kennen is definitely a viable AD option. kennen as an AD innately plays differently - unless you are very fed or your team has a lot of set up / defensive CC, you won't be able to get those sexy 5 person ultis that do a ton of damage, but in terms of defensively peeling and dealing damage to those charging at him, there are very few ADs that can match kennen in that regard. ashe is widely considered by good players to be one of the most monstrous carries with her 6 item lategame - her ultimate's gloabal stun, her slows and her long attack range and safe volley are some strengths that kennen does not have. however, kennen has wider and more applicable stuns, higher base attack speed and attack speed gains (ashe notably does not have steroids as her passive is largely ignorable in large fights) and only 25 less range, (longer than corki / vayne / graves), while having more mobility than ashe by far. to disregard a champion or playstyle with exaggerations is pretty ignorant and promotes flaming and less productive discussion | ||

M5 won Kiev because of support nunu, Jungle shyvanna and just overall strong play in comparison to what the other teams offered at the time(if memory serves Dig's new jungler being.. I am not trying to take anything away from M5 I am proud of them and what they've done but laying down the victory at kiev due to AD kennen play is just flat out wrong. I'll go so far to say I didn't even see AD kennen doing much in those games in the first place. Just because a champion can work doesn't mean he can't be replaced by better options. You can jungle Alistar and do really well with him but he isn't the best jungler and he has flaws. AD kennen has flaws. I dislike the fact that AD kennen has become a thing, If you enjoy playing him and play him well again I say to you "more power and have fun" I don't like it and I am not going to like it because I just feel his flaws as an AD carry is not worthwhile considering his strengths as an AP. | ||
