If you use your Wit's build, you become just as tanky as the health stacking Volibears, except you actually do damage because his ult is OP.
BTW have you thought about building a HoG after your Wriggle's for GP5? Also what runes do you use?
I have been using: Attack speed reds, HP/lvl yellows, MR/lvl or attack speed blues, and armor quints.

the funniest part of that was that you could play at a decently high level with sub 100 apm on broodwar. By no means pro level but i was able to consistently hit B-/B on PGT. always hovered around 80-90 apm.

What kills me is the first sentence:
It's not elitism when you want to preserve the continued success of your beloved, more challenging and stimulating game.
If somebody asks me from now on to define elitism in computer games I will just quote that. Absolutely priceless.

Once again, people refuse to disjoint the difficulty of the competition from the inherent difficulty of the game.
It's hilarious that someone can presume to know what "perfect play" is for a game that has existed for such a short period of time. Then again, people in 2003 thought they knew what "perfect play" in BW was, and would never conceive of the fact that someone could ever be as good as Flash is.
It's also hilarious that people can fault Riot for making their game "easy" when there are so many more legitimate things you can actually fault them for if you even have a passing familiarity with LoL's development history. Like how that PvP.net client is the worst client ever.
Related: have they fixed the bug where you can't see someone's ranked stats without tabbing over to another tab in their profile and tabbing back yet?

Well, at least the LoL hating on TL has gone way down compared to a year ago or so (The BW people that now play LoL and tell the SC2ers to shut the fuck up probably help)

a worse problem is that multi kills are sometimes not getting recorded. ive had 2 quadras and 4 triples on twitch last week that didnt get recorded into my stats but i get the wins/kills.
go look on parkjaehyuk to see; i have a quadra in my match history but no quadras in my ranked stats.
actually zz nvm its not there anymore.

That he bookends his first line with more of the same ridiculous ignorant bullshit is perfect though. There is just this common reduction of the entire MOBA genre down to 'if I had like 1 month to learn the hero skills and items I'd be pro.'
I have yet to see an SC2 pro stream LoL or DotA2 that didn't look mediocre at best, and some of them have a ton of games played. I'm sure they'd be quick to defend themselves as 'not trying' but that's the point, they act as if they shouldn't have to try because the game is so easy, then still suck.
Edit: I Think I found the blog T_D is referring to, and a person in there who 'is 1750 Elo'(aka that's his peak, probably even estimating up from like 1701), is claiming to have 'played it at a high level. I guess by % he's correct(1700 is like top 5%?) but clearly 1700s is not high level play(I'm not too familiar with SC2 ladder breakdowns, but that's like calling Diamond high level SC2 isn't it?).

eh, always comes down to mechanical ability/skill is much easier to perceive than mental. gamesense, etc. too hidden =(

I just saw a Nunu destroy a Fiora.

Nunu destroys basically anyone who needs to autoattack top lane unless they have obscene amounts of Sustain.

That sounds about right. Masters should be top 2% of active players.

At the highest level, MOBA games are all about teamplay and positioning. Those are not both skills you learn from Starcraft, and LoL positioning is not the same as SC2 positioning either.
That's why most sc2 pros are mediocre, Destiny sucks (teamplay, hahaha) and the thought that every random idiot could be a pro is so dominant: Because they could if they have a team they are in the flow with.

Diamond and above is top 20%. Master is believed to be top 2%. But that is the reason why people don't take diamond serious. The skill gap in there is just to large.
I also have the feeling that your elo is fluctuating more strongly in lol when compared to SC2. All the other people enter as variables and since a single player throwing really hard can unbalance the entire match, you have these streaks, that can easily push your elo up and down by 100. I would also streak in SC2 but never as hard as in lol.
I also don't know if I would use the percentiles as comparison. High level play in lol is considered 2000+ and that is the equivalent to SC2 masters for me.

The funny thing while these are all legitimate things to fault riot for, I'd argue the PVP.net client kicks the shit out of the SC2 client. Recently played list? Chat channels? non-ranked and ranked play? Name changes? Clan support?
SC2 would kill to have all of those features. Kind of Ironic, imo.
Also, how exactly is Nocturnes Spellshield supposed to work? is it supposed to eat CC and leave damage or the other way around? Is it suppposed to kill the entire spell? It seems kinda random to me... For example I spell shielded a Malz ult and didn't get surpressed, but still had malz channeling damage at me (ultimately killing me) despite the fact that I was like 3000 range away. That just... doesn't seem intended.

Last season 1900 was the top .2% of lol players in the world.
And 1900 players still suck. Ive hit 1800 and I still cant play a laner to save my life.

There's way more to it. Just because your single hero offers limited room for mechanical proficience it doesn't mean that LoL is all about coordination/positioning. For "perfect" LoL play, you have to keep all the timers in your head. From Dragon, Baron and buffs over summoner spells, wards and ultimates and all the way down to every single spell every single hero in the game has. Properly adjusted by cooldown reduction and other crap. This is by no means an easy task.
And that's just one aspect. Sure, it still doesn't require fast fingers, but I don't think anyone will argue that SC2 is better because it requires more muscle work.
