Eh so rather than have a slight advantage by having someone be able to first pick they should play in a mode no team practices in and no other tournament uses? Who practices Ryze vs Ryze? Olaf vs Olaf? Urgot vs Urgot. Not to mention having a first pick advantage means letting the other team have the chance to have a really good counterpick with their last pick.
This was funny, but a really dumb move in a serious tournament.

I think a cute way would be to make it so that any champion that gets picked by both teams is banned, and then they do the picks over until there are no mirrors.

Not to mention that 1 team SHOULD have the advantage cuz they won their group. Give them the slight advantage in game 3.

Having last pick/first pick is a pretty big advantage/disadvantage. Being able to 100% counter-pick a certain lane can easily decide a game.

The last minute 3 mirrors was so hilarious. This game turned out to be fine and mirror match ups (can be) are funny. But chances are one team gets a (maybe even pretty big) advantage in future games just by pure luck = gimmicky coin flip. That doesn't mean it's not fun to watch.

personally I didnt like the Blindpick, hard to watch the fights because of same champions and imho the picking phase is an important part of the game and it is in my opinion an important skill to outpick your opponent
Edit: In both of the games I saw (2 and 3) both teams made so many mistakes, I didnt really enjoy watching it that much ) : (I dont want to say that these teams are bad, just so many mistakes ) : )
There were a total of 5 Frozen Hearts in this game o.O
The one biggish mistake I saw in game 2 was when all of NaJin walked into the Galio ult at Baron.

Zenon we write on 2 forums about the game we are too good!

So far Blind Pick hasn't been a coin toss--3 mirrors is anything but a coin toss.
I think Blind Pick has merit; but the players should get a chance to pick runes and summoners after seeing the enemy lineup to take some randomness out of the early game

I've had concurrent conversations about the game on TL, Twitter, German lol forums and a Facebook group. Plus two instant messengers. Multitasking ftw! But yeah, other than you no one reacted to me on the German forums. Teamliquid is generally just too good when it comes to discussing matches as they happen. Look at this 163 page thread! Pretty insane.

<3 Zenon
While blindpick removes a huge part of the game I can still understand that OGN doesnt want there to be a first pick/ban/last pick advantage for the deciding game.
Not sure yet if its worth the loss of ban phase tho, need some more games for that.
Props to casters btw for managing to keep is somewhat managable with both teams having 3 identical champions. must make it a lot harder to cast without just being to use champion names.
