Being able to derp around with AP Ez on Dominion doesn't mean I can't dedicate a couple of days to learn Irelia, Wukong and Rumble. It's not like you're FORCED to play different champions.
And god forbid anybody actually has fun in this game.

Or you might be like me and you'll never settle on any role so you own mostly everything and use most of it too, at least over time.
But if you want to pick a role that's cheap to own support is the way to go. Only need ~8 champs and they're all old and cheap minus Leona or trollpicks like support shaco/gp.

the trollingz! the broken sarcasm detectors! ah the internet

nevermind this post right here

If you just want to mess around with a random champion, the PBE is a useful place to do it on thanks to the 10k RP and IP. Please remember to bug test features and offer feedback as well!

He did. I'm pretty sure it's in Leviticus or something.
"And the LORD said, 'Let you not be found trolling or smurfing, for these are abominations in my sight. Let you not be found randoming or showing bravery, for those are the ways of the heathen. Let you not be found questioning the metagame, for it is as I have decreed. Therefore, always put forth the greatest of efforts, and demonstrate to all the nations through your victory that there is a God in Israel. gg'" Leviticus 19:38-39

The thing that keeps me off PBE is having to patch for both servers

There are different ways to play this game. Some people enjoy getting on a voice chat and queuing up as a group of 5 where everybody has a set role, some people queue as 5 and swap roles all the time. Some people like only playing one champ while others prefer to random select. Personally I have 50 champions give or take, and prefer to switch it up all the time. One game I might play support and set up all the kills, other games I may play Ez and have 0 cc. The point is to enjoy what you're doing and have fun. If I'm grinding IP playing top lane bruisers eventually I get bored and lock in something else.

they credit stuff to ppls accounts, much to my frustration and i'm sure treebeard is quite tired of hearing about it at this point, lol

what barbsq said, they are only credited to the 5 players that are on the winning team in the final round of a tournament
i'm willing to work out a deal to get you into a roster in a tournament though always open to business opportunities

i just win ESL occassionally thats how I get mine

Easy. You PM them on TL so you can get added to the bench players list. Do nothing, watch them win tourney, get skins.

It is something you have to learn, and not everyone learns it. Still, I think the idea of 'every bad thing that happens to you is your fault' is fairly prevalent in serious competitive communities (which is not to say you won't hear pros whining about balance every now and again). I think LOL is notable in the whining factor because a) it has a huge casual playerbase, and b) as the article points out, there are more things to blame. It's harder to naturally look for ways you can help when it's easier to complain about allies. Most people need to condition themselves to react that way, and that's not something that spontaneously happens.

The only reason I see having too many champions bad is it is hard to choose who to play. I always almost run out of time.

So, to sum up Smash's blog... People who sling mud, lose ground.

The problem is not every game is winnable. You could play 100% perfectly and have someone trolling, purposely feeding, and mentioning where you are on the map. There are unwinnable games, regardless of how well you played. I agree though you should always look to improve, but keep in mind that just having good solo q isn't the only way to improve. I was tanking my solo q in season 1 to silver by playing similarly to how I played on my rank 5s team, which ended up platinum. It's harder to tell if you got better unless it's substantial.

You pay him a fair fee and he adds you to his team's roster. You get skin when/if they win tourney npnp.
