I also happen to own Shen :O. I gotta play him but the changes look like they completely change his build and itemization. His dash is now comlpletely a one point wonder. And AS seems to be absurdly strong on him, proccing Ki every 3rd or 4th attack with shield on..... thats nuts. He should be one of the best dualists ingame with the shield and 50% Damage reduction with taunt from level one. Im going to try a build maxing Feint over dagger and just fucking whaling on kids while stacking health...it looks ridiculous. Itemization: Ionic looks strong with the health adding 25ad to his kistrike plus help pushing and gets you assists Zekes also looks great with the same health, lifesteal and 15CDR which is key Youmuus also good with fat AS and CDR, armorpen not as useful Malady could be build-able as he is all magic damage defensively Randuins always strong on shen with his taunt Spirit Visage could be alright early for more sustain if you are against rumble or other magic Warmogs, very strong synergy with passive, 127damage added every 3/4 attacks for free...nuts Atmas going to always be in there with the amount of health you want to stack This is going to play completely differently than old shen. | ||

I like when Shen is OP. I dunno why but Shen feel more legit being OP than other character. x) Perhaps because ye.. Shen is a bit more difficult to play than Rammus or Galio. But Shen is a Guinsoo character. These never get the right balance. Same for Shaco or Eve/Twitch. The guy is from dota, you can't blame him ! | ||

I think he has too much utility to be allowed being powerful. but he was so mediocre in every aspect that he didn't have a defined role. He needed farm so he couldn't really support. His jungle was slow and he couldn't deal damage even if he had farm and built his tank items. His only strength was being a strong split pusher. However, Nid, GP and Singed are strong in that area as well and are much more useful in duels and team fights. Now that Shen's damage has been buffed and is more tanky, he can do well most of the things that a solo top normally does. | ||
