I think it's actually the case that EU get better ping on NA tourney realm, than NA gets on EU tourney realm... which is why clg.eu are ok with playing on NA. It's something like 180 ping for EU->NA, and 220 ping for NA->EU.

They want to keep practising on the NA server to get used to the pings apparently due to their match v Convergence Gaming for IPL4 qualifiers.

But yeah you can see Froggen doing really badly there with his ultimates.

yeah, if you live on the west coast you have way better pings from NA to EU because you get ~200 ping to NA from central europe. but i dunno where the CLG guys live.

either way it's now clear why they're playing on NA (practice for CLG.eu because of IPL). just wanted to highlight it to those who might wonder why Froggen missed so many ults

I honestly have the opposite experience. In solo queue games, a Blitz who's good at grabbing things before a fight starts turns any fight into a 4v5 npnp. It's easy to take advantage of a situation when one of your teammates grabs an enemy, pops them up, and silences them while the rest of you murder that person into the ground. Similarly, an Amumu bandage toss - Ult will mean you win that fight most of the time.

I think that it has to do with the lack of communication in those games. You never really know when a teamfight is starting until someone does something, and with strong initiation and CC, it can really turn it around.

A team that's losing is more likely to be uncoordinated, and moreover, enemy movements are very predictable when you know they're intent on running away more than fighting.

Nautilus just seems so sluggish, which is not a very appealing quality in a tank.

A guy called WW solo gamer has hard carried games with and against me with AP kog, never seen him lose with it. Sick with blue buffs can poke a team down from full to zero almost. Tears-->RoA-->Voidstaff->archangel build into cap i think.

i really think gailo could be a standard support if his shield healed the target instead of him.

Can anyone explain why SV picked trundle, it felt like he did nothing all game exept 1v1 soraka?

They wanted a disengage comp, since kogmaw doesn't have any escape. So with galio ult and trundle pillar, they can allow kog to kite and just spam his ult.

Nobody seems to really talk about the AP champ nerfs. A lot of these champs were ones considered OP by streamers who said they were OP and banned them. Vlad, Ryze, Cassio, Kennen and Ahri were nerfed but the nerfs didn't seem that much. Surprised Ziggs wasn't nerfed though.

Ziggs wasn't nerfed because he's not out since long enough and they usually wait a few patches before nerfing/buffing a champ unless he's blatantly op/up. If he gets nerfed it'll probably be in one or two patches. And anyways I dont expect him to be nerfed so much.

I'll try it out with blitz top lane more. My teammates would be mad if I didn't gank well for them as a jungler, and I don't think he can handle being outside top lane.
