Caitlyn definitely stronger than her in lane, even wrecks her in lane probably, and Graves may do more damage than her but I think her lane phase is otherwise really powerful. But no, most recent buff was about two months or so ago I think where they made her ult scale off AD and AP. I can't tell if you're trolling or not... ![]() But with that said, I know a lot of EUs and Chaox like that build path but I still prefer 2-3Dblad into IE/BT and then Zeal/PD. Maybe if I lose hard to someone who goes 3Dblade->Wriggles->PD I'll re-evaluate it but anyone who isn't just straight up better than me who goes that build path loses. Not to mention if I go Dblades and Wriggle's I feel like I do significantly less damage than if I just skip Wriggle's and start building IE. Could be different at high Elo or if your team is really coordinated but at least for solo queue at my level I think that build path is kind of shitty. MF>Graves pre-6. Post 6 she's stronger if you played pre-6 well. In any even or close to even scenario, going shit like wriggles or anything that deters IE will gimp you hard. Because the dmg output increase from an IE is significantly greater than non-IE.

I dont care if you need it to survive, get tabi and a vamp cepter. Boom, I just saved you 1k. I don't think you kept up with the "push lane to assert map control" development. Wriggle's is amazing for creating advantageous earlygame situations out of lane and taking the objectives involved into the process.

It gives a lot of buff/dragon control as well due to the added threat of a wriggles AD. I personally really like it on ADs because I main jungle and am able to almost completely control dragon when I play AD.

In solo q and unless you have very clear goal, getting wriggles on an AD carry, especially after you get 2-3 dblades is a waste of 1.6k gold.

Dblades+wriggles+zeal gives you a big power bump in the early-mid game when other AD carries are still struggling to complete their BF sword item + zeal/pd core. If you (and your team) can take advantage of that early game power differential the way M5 did then dblades+wriggles can be very useful. In solo q and unless you have very clear goal, getting wriggles on an AD carry, especially after you get 2-3 dblades is a waste of 1.6k gold. That has always been the idea with wriggles + d-blades, but Genja use it with M5, very agressiv team, contesting your jungle since lvl 1. TSM is agressive but not that much imo and when in that game we saw that : he didn't take that much of a lead early game despite his wriggles and d-blade, and was just too behind late game vs Ashe.

That said if you want to do fast dragons or really need the wards wriggle's seem quite acceptable. It's not gonna make you do mad deeps or super survive in a team fight though.

I think it's really silly as that obviously is a specific strategy the rest of M5 supplement as well, I really don't think Reginald and Rainmand and Xpecial are as well-suited for that specific playstyle. And should I also mention that these days Genja tends to rush IE from what I've seen?

You say that, but Wriggles doenst do shit if you are kog maw or vayne going up against graves and sivir. You cant even the lane, let alone out push them, even if you did have wriggles. The only way to push bot lane is pick one of Corki, Ashe, Sivir, Graves, or Cait. Vayne, Ez, and Kog arent gonna be able to out push them even with Wriggles. The only person you CAN actually make that argument on would be Tristana, but thats it.
