Ryze in particular is pretty pro at 1v5ing bads, and doesn't need help to take his own blue buff, unlike some casters. For other roles, Alistar covers support quite fine, and taric is also very good at punishing bads who overextend and is simpler to play, soraka and janna are also down there. Sona's the most IP-expensive of the support-5, but at 3150 even shes not that expensive and if you end up getting a lot of farm you can force yourself into a support semi-carry role. Ryze can already fit a bruiser role, but if you want a guy that's more in-your-face, there's plenty of solid choices in the 1350 range like Cho, Singed, Tryndamere, and WW. AP/caster roles there's Ryze, Annie, Morgana just to name a few. For carries, sivir and trist should have you covered, but if you really want something else, corki urgot and twitch are all 3150 (was tempted to leave twitch out of this list, but stealth is super-effective against baddies.) I really can't rationalize getting 6300 characters on a smurf that im just trying to teach my buddies the game. I'd rather have a bit more variety in champion select. Low level junglers are tricky, I'm not really sure (and you have to deal with a 1v2 lane much of the time.) Yi, Amumu WW, Udyr? And seriously, make them buy Tier 1 runes. The IP efficiency is retardedly good - 5-10% the cost of tier 3 for 60% the efficacy. It's like free starting gold, sure you can play without it, but why cripple yourself? A Tier 1 armor yellow is ONLY 15 IP for 0.78 armor, compared to a Tier 3 armor rune 205 IP for 1.41 armor. More than half the power. Less than a tenth the cost. | ||

The free-to-play champs are usually well rounded so owning 1-2 per group below is enough. A friend of mine also made a spreadsheet concerning the efficiency of buying lvl 1 runes and transmuting them to lvl 2 and then to lvl 3 runes. What he came out with was that if you don't have many runes yet, you are better off transmuting. I bought low lvl runes when I started, and then I transmuted them and got a ms quint, a cdr/lvl blue and an armor red. It's definitely worth it imo. | ||

Yeah, the best thing you can do is buy tier 1 runes up to level 19, and buy as many tier 3 runes as you can once you have access. After you have 6-7 tier 3 runes per slot, you can transmute your tier 1 into a tier 3, and just hope that you get a useful one. | ||

But mainly interested in the vast amount of different bots available, there was like mumu, cassio, lux, galio bots in the preview and since they can use skillshots and summoners like flash...the galio bot actually flash ulted in the video. Those bots are gonna wreck faces :D probably harder than oddone's lvl 9 adventures today. God a Malzahar bot, imagine getting malz comboed by a 0 ping perfect reflex bot? from flash distance :x | ||
